We have been picked up at à distance from the harbour, where our Motor Yacht was moored. Not only the distance between the Harbour and the yacht, but mainly the ugly, dirty, low-cost "limo" (it was a Renault mini-bus which seats were really a shame making my wife hesitating seating on.. .) was just about for us to cancel our... The hotel room was large and the bed was very, very comfortable. The service was mostly excellent. The beach and the Island itself was amazingly relaxed and exactly what I hoping it would be. The dinner was good. The grounds and the views were wonderful. The maid service was outstanding. I definitely want to go back.

My grandmother and I stayed here for two days and we were impressed with the service, attention to detail and food throughout our stay... Oh, and the island's eponymous wine, too. To get there is a bit of a trek (but well worth it.) You catch a ferry in Hyeres and then are picked up by a shuttle service offered... More

My wife and I were holidaying in the South of France and decided to add an additional two day stay on the Porquerolles and booked into the Langoustier which was reviewed as the best hotel on the island. Quite a performance getting there. One has to drive through the busy town of Hyeres and continue to the very tip of... More

An amazing 4 day break at this rustic rural luxury bolt hole. Staff were incredibly accommodating, hotel and grounds were utterly charming and then there was the food. We ate at both the Michelin star restaurant and their hotel dining room overlooking the garden and island landscape. Food was inventive, fresh, delicate and satisfying. Although we were on business, i... More

We spent two days here in September. There are no sea views from any of the bedrooms, but we did get a room with a balcony which got sun in the evening. The room was cosy, and the facilities were excellent. The grounds are lovely, but the highlight was the evening meals which were superb. The weather was lovely and... More

We spent three days in this renown hotel and we left with a disappointing feeling eventhough the location is splendid. As far as rooms are concerned, we remarked wet pavement after cleaning, no anti moustique nets on toilet windows, heavy duvet still on beds in mid june with an average temp. above 25 celsius. We have suffered (three of four)... More

4 star price but not a 4 star experience! Super location. Beautiful Provence presentation. Gracious service at the hotel. Beautiful pool But on the restaurant side there were great beauty spots and logistic problems. - Never heard of a Club sandwich without bacon! - At the first dinner they served a different bottle of wine than the one ordered! -... Fantastic location in a quite and secluded environment completely surrounded by the nature and far from the madding crowd. The hotel is at the western end of the beautiful island of Porquerolles, and close to two of the nicest beaches. The staff is very friendly, professional and always smiling. The Michelin starred restaurant is absolutely outstanding and the best half... More

Wonderful secluded position ast one end of the island. Great pool. As fine dining on half board as we've had anywhere. Difficult to beat the experience at this hotel and the island is a treasure of beaches with clear water.
