Nestled in Murano, the Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is celebrated for its modern charm and unique glass art, which contribute to the property's stylish and comfortable atmosphere. Conveniently located near a Vaporetto stop, it offers a serene retreat from the city's hustle. Guests appreciate the hotel's array of amenities, particularly the praised water taxi service, and the cleanliness of the well-maintained rooms. While the staff is generally recognized for their helpfulness, some guests have noted occasional service inconsistencies. Hotel is conveniently located latterly 2 meters from Water Taxi stop - Make sure to take 4.1 or 5.2 lines. Also, we used Hotel Airport Shuttle service which was fantastic - free and super convenient. If you want to visit Burano and spend a day in Venice, this is a very affordable location. Highly recommended.

We also like the design of Hyatt Centric Murano, light, furniture, colors are nice. The historic living room on the 2nd floor is an unexpected space. The art glass objects are nicely put to be admired.

My stay at the Hyatt hotel in Venice was a tumultuous journey with both highs and lows. Despite being promised transportation upon booking, we found ourselves stranded due to boat engine issues just days before our arrival, forcing us to navigate our own way to the hotel. Although greeted warmly and given a room upgrade as compensation for the inconvenience, our experience quickly soured. The room was plagued with maintenance problems: malfunctioning lights, inadequate air conditioning (the system only provided heat, not cooling, and was stuck at 24 degC - the hotel's solution was to open the window for cooling, which wasn't easy due to the window being stuck), and dysfunctional curtains. Despite reporting these issues to the help desk, little was done to address them. The situation escalated when a foul odour emanated from the drains inside the bathroom, prompting an immediate complaint. Instead of handling the matter professionally, a staff member worsened it by spraying heavy perfume into the bathroom to mask the odour, despite my asthma. When I informed him of my condition, he callously continued spraying (presumably just to empty the can). I was astonished and hastily vacated the room. My husband tried to clear the "fog" from the bathroom by opening the window in the room (with great difficulty), but this resulted in the "fog" triggering the smoke alarm as it moved from the bathroom to the window, causing the hotel to be evacuated (it appears that the extractor fan in the bathroom was not working, either). No staff came to investigate the cause of the alarm, and initially, my husband was accused of setting off the alarm deliberately! After being relocated to another room, we encountered further disappointments. While the air conditioning functioned (the heating temperature could be adjusted this time), we were surprised to learn that the hotel only provided heating, not cooling—a fact we discovered upon realizing the air conditioner was not working in our initial room. Additionally, arriving to find that the sheets were very dirty, and there was a dirty cloth on the bed headboard. It appeared that the room had not been cleaned properly. This discovery added to our dismay, as it indicated a lack of attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards. The downward spiral continued when our complimentary bottled water supply was not replenished because half a bottle remained from the previous day. We contacted the reception and was informed that any additional bottles would be charged to our room, since they only provided one bottle of still and one bottle of sparkling water per room per day. We had to argue our point that we had not received a fresh bottle that day, but they eventually agreed to swap out the half bottle for a full bottle. Being informed that unemptied bottles wouldn't be replaced without charge was an unexpected and unwelcome policy. In conclusion, while the Hyatt hotel initially seemed promising with its friendly staff and room upgrade, the numerous maintenance issues, health hazards, and questionable policies significantly marred the experience. With unresolved problems, unprofessional conduct, and disappointing service, this stay fell short of the standards expected from a reputable hotel chain.

Would not recommend - hot rooms - poor food - the hotel had promis in terms of the aesthetics, but did not deliver - stay in the south of the island near the Guggenheim - same quietness, less of the hassle of an extended water bus ticket. The staff were of mixed customer service levels and the rooms views were a let down given the location

This hotel is close to everything, but not nearby the crowds of Venice. Only 10 min water bus to the main land. Not only all the staffs are friendly and welcoming, the interior decorations and foods are speechless as well :)

Great hotel, where I have had the pleasure of staying at before, many times. Easy access to Venice via the vaporeta service which has a stop right outside of the hotel. The 4.1 or 4. 2 will take you across to the north side of Venice, where you can catch a variety of other boats to go to other destinations. Do ensure you a buy a ticket before boarding. This can be done at the Faro stop. Depending on the length of your stay you can buy 1, 2, or 3 day passes.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were sad to leave. Firstly the staff.I could not pick out 1 member as extra special, because they all were. Our room was clean, tidy and well maintained, Breakfast had a good choice in a lovely area. We ate in the Hotel restaurant on our arrival evening and were so impressed we booked again for another meal. The Spritz & Fizz bar for a late drink had a good vibe and an excellent barman. Lastly after a mad day in the crowds of Venice it was so nice to return to the Hyatt Murano for some peace & calm. If we went back to Venice to stay here again would be a bonus.

Modern, clean hotel right next to water taxi stop which was very convenient. Drinks a bit pricey but only what you expect to pay in a hotel. Breakfast pricey but a lot on offer including prosecco! We had a room overlooking courtyard, rooms very hot but windows did open!

Just finished a fantastic stay at Hyatt Murano. All of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast in the am is amazing. All restaurants were great. It was also nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. The waterbus was easy to use and ran often. This is an excellent option for Venice!

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric in Murano and would have had a great experience except their boat from the airport was not working and the WIFI was down in the hotel for more than 2 whole days! The staff didn't seem to want to offer anything for the trouble. We incurred more than $20.00 in extra expense as we had to take public transport and add international plans to our phones for the days the WIFI was down and they wouldn't even offer breakfast. There were a lot of stairs up to the bed and there are two large skylights which are impossible to close the light out of. It was really disappointing! With a little customer service, this could have been a great stay instead of a bad one.
