This was a highlight of our trip to Japan. We travelled from Tokyo and stayed one night to enjoy a traditional Ryokan and Onsen experience. We had a room with our own outdoor bath and a view at Fuji which was a bit pricey but worth all of the money. The staff is incredible, the kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast... More

We selected this hotel because of a Japanese friend's recommendation. We book a Yuraku Japanese room with Mt. Fuji view and a private bath. This is our first experience of staying in a Japanese room and we love it. The experience started from pick-up service at the train station. We were early for check in and we were suggested to... This is the largest modern ryokan we've ever stayed in, and that has its advantages. First, their nightly free show with the man-size drums was just amazing, my boys love watching that video over and over. And their enormous garden, which heads into the hills over a bridge, was spectacular. They even built a western cathedral in the garden for... More

A very nice hotel with drum show at night time and BINGO game (luckily I got the big prize). Highly recommended to all. Quite a lot of different onsens (hot spring) in this hotel, we tried all but unfortunately, the roof top one was closed due to bad weather. Our package included breakfast and dinner which was delicious. However, the... More

This is the best ryokan I've stayed in Japan! Everything is perfect from the moment the shuttle bus pick us up until they send us back to station. The staffs are really friendly and tried their best to be helpful even though I couldn't speak any Japanese. I was amazed with their patience in communicating with translation app and sign... More

About two hour easy drive from Tokyo, in the Fuji five lakes area, very nice onsen hotel with the best roof top hot spring I have ever seen, wonderful view of Mount Fuji. Room spacious and well appointed, the meals are well prepared using fresh local ingredients, the amount is just perfect, very beautifully and artistically prepared by the chef.... More

Pleasant hotel at the edge of Fujiyoshida. Always has a "cultural" event underway in the Lobby (like Taiko). Must be good, as there were a lot of locals too. Their banquet facility is good. Staff are attentive, and work very hard. They could possibly work a bit more on their vegetarian offering as also their Cheese tray. All the same,... More

We arrived in Mt.Fuji Station, and I called the pick up service 0555-22-3168. Quite a trip from Osaka to this wonderful place. The trip took 6 hours total adding the train waiting and asking directions. We are told to wait in the Tourist information center which is just outside the station, and picked up to the hotel. When arrived there,... More

I spent one night at this outstanding hotel with my mother. Very welcoming reception where a row of women all dressed in kimono receives you as you arrive. They take your luggage, whilst you check in. Loads of check-in staff so you don't have to wait. The lady shows you around and takes you into your room and shows around... More

The room was superb with the Onsen bath! I strongly recommend it! The food and service is great too! The garden is huge, I suggest to check in early and spend more time in the hotel. Their Taigo show is very traditional and fun, kids love the Bingo game afterward. A great hotel suitable for all ages!
