Hosts were very friendly especially the woman who could speak English. Helped us by giving us a map that showed where to eat, etc. Useful but we tried to go to the far flung ones for dinner, it was quite unnerving because there were hardly any lamp posts in those streets. Lesson learned is to go there earlier when daylight's... More

We are currently staying here as part of our honeymoon, and I am already eager to write this review. Our host Hayakawa is very friendly and also welcomed us as a newly married couple and was very happy for us. She was happy to give us a Mt Fuji facing room, and when we were incorrectly given a room without... More

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in Winter. The location of the hotel is actually better than what it looks like in some of the photos taken by others. I thought it was in the middle of nowhere by the look of the photos, but it's in a bustling part of town with great restaurants within 5min... More

This was our overnight hotel and we arrived in a rented car. Have to say that hotel signboard was small and not visible. We had difficulty locating the hotel as darkness set in at about 5pm during winter. When we checked in, the hotel requested for cash payment as they don't accept credit cards. Luckily we had enough cash to... More

Tip: Ask for a room with a view of Mount Fuji! These face the back and are quieter. We stayed here for 3 nights to explore the Fuji Five Lakes area. Good call because the first day was cloudy, but the next two were blue skies. Big view of Mount Fuji from our room, so glad we asked for a... More

It is very close to FujiQ Highland (5min walk) and there is free parking lot at the hotel. In the parking area there is a Family Mart convenience store, that is very helpful if you need to buy something for emergency or some fast food. If you want to go out to dinner, or to have breakfast, there some restaurants... More

Never lovely hotel. The owner is so wonderful. Helped us with car rental and luggage storage. Stayed for only one night while visiting Fuji Q Highland and surrounding areas. The area is such a wonderful place to visit, and West Inn made it that little bit more comfortable. Our room even had Fuji views. Will be definitely staying here again... More

This is a simple hotel for simple travellers. We stayed for one night as we are just passing by the area. The hotel is very near the Fuji-Q highland, one of Japan most highest roller coaster. The room was simple and meet the basic needs. The aircon and heater works well though we felt a bit hot at night even... More

We arrived on the worst day ever, cold, rainy with no chance of getting better. The area looked like a highway exit with no Fuji in sight. We booked 2 nights but we cancelled the second one right away. The only positive about that evening was the perfectly clean and tidy room and the excellent Onsen. As we decided to... More

We chose to stay at this hotel for the Mount Fuji view. While Mount Fuji is really not as near as it looks in the official photograph the view from the window of our room and from the back of the hotel is amazing enough. After almost 1.5 hour riding the Keio Highway Bus from Shinjuku we got off at... More
