My Wife and I had afternoon tea here for a special occasion. I personally found it very pricey for the amount of food that you are given and for the service you receive. My Wife and I were disappointed and probably will not return here again. the place was also very cold I think we were dumped in the bar... More

We attended this venue for a wedding last weekend and what a fabulous place it was. Lovely surroundings, great food and very attentive but unobtrusive staff. The gardens are spectacular and a lovely place to relax. Highly recommended.

We attended a wedding here and although we live quite close we had never been before! The hotel is charming, clean and so welcoming. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Staff are friendly, attentive and polite. We will be back at the first possible opportunity and we've heard from so many people that Goldstone Hall afternoon tea is the best.

Came to this wonderful venue for the first time this weekend for my friends wedding. It was fantastic. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The drinks were reasonably priced which was surprising as sometimes drink prices can be inflated! The food was amazing. We had the soup, salmon, beef, chicken, cheesecake and sponge. Everyone said how fab it... More

We enjoyed another fabulous weekend in this little gem. The food was better than ever, with much of it fresh from the garden. Sadly the weather was wet and windy so my enjoyment of the gardens was brief, but even on a grey day they were a feast for the eyes. I need accessible accomadation Goldstone has two ground floor... My family visited Goldstone for a special birthday lunch. We were met at the entrance and made so welcome, we were shown to a sitting room by a smart, friendly young man. The dining room was sumptuous, wonderful atmosphere and beautifully presented. Our food was served by an excellent staff, beautifully presented and piping hot. The whole experience was exceptional. We went for an evening meal for the OH's birthday. The entire experience, from initial booking to being given my coat, was absolutely excellent. I have a number of foods that I cannot eat, or can only have if cooked in a certain way. I gave them the basics that I can't have on the phone when booking, however I... More

We arrived at this hotel to visit the gardens which were open as part of the NGS. We were early so thought we would be able to get lunch there. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely lunch in a shady part of the garden before walking around the stunning garden.... More

Wonderful dinner with exclusive wines and impeccable service. The gardens are very special and make it his a very romantic place to stay or dine. Not for the budget tourist but rather for the more discerning traveller.
