My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night after a long journey driving down from Scotland. The hotel itself and rooms are lovely-very old and quaint. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We had an evening meal on arrival which was very good! The one big issue we had was the location... More

Find the Tudor a nice place to stay and the staff and owner friendly. We where in room four which is said by the locals to be haunted which I feel adds to the stay as it is a 17 th century building. We didn't meat any ghosts which was a bit of a disappointment but hey ho. Overall nice... More

Lovely old building, very clean functional rooms all entries suite, exceptionally friendly staff and good well cooked breakfast. Only draw back is no on site parking, although public car park quite near by.

Lovely Olde Worlde hotel, rooms are clean and tidy, on-suite toilet and shower. Our room has a four poster double bed. An excellent breakfast, with a reasonable choice, ranging from Continental to Full English. Friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.

Called in today for a light lunch and loved it. I had a toasted baguette with bacon and mature cheddar, my daughter had tuna mayo with curly fries and a Diet Coke. The staff here are very helpful and engaging. They always go out of their way to meet our needs. It is suitable for wheelchair users as there is... More

Popped in on our way to Chester for lunch. We were impressed with what we had. Two paninis with a side order of chips. The chips were some of the best I have ever tasted. Prices were very reasonable and the setting was lovely. A good choice and we were glad we stumbled across the place.
