An absolutely wonderful place to relax and unwind. We stayed in De Oude Boord self catering cottage. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well appointed. We loved the freedom of the farm. We picked, ate and juiced oranges. The hiking trails led one to amazing vista's. We were blessed with enjoying the company of two super friendly dogs who would often join us on our hikes This is a definite "do it again and again" holiday.

What an absolutely beautiful spot just outside Citrusdal! Not often places exceed their pics on website - stunning oasis in a picture perfect setting. Couldn't have been better! And very friendly dogs to make it feel even more like home!

We spent 3 nights as a family (us and our 3 kids) in Boschkloof cottage. The area and the house is really charming... as well as super clean, well equipped ... we have enjoyed the pool, feeding the horses, playing with the dogs (Im really not a dog fan but these ones are super good and well behaved), went for a walk on the property on the edge of the Cederberg. Mariet is a great host. The location is great to discover the Cederberg area, Clanwilliam etc. Will definitely recommend this place for families traveling ! And to look at the stars at night too :)

We have been coming to fabulous Boschkloof for the last 3 years and have loved it every single time. The peace and tranquility is incredible at this oasis. The cottage has everything one needs and Mariet and Doempie are fantastic hosts. We are definitely looking forward to going there again soon.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Boschkloof cottage. It is cozy and has everything you could need for a wintery weekend away in the mountains. Just be aware that the cottage is on the doorstep of the main farmhouse so isn't as secluded as the other cottage on the farm. Access to beautiful mountain hikes right from the farm and super friendly dogs to join you for the walk - definitely a highlight!

This is our second visit to Boschkloof, and both visits have been wonderful. Last time we stayed at Oude Boord which was wonderful for its privacy and seclusion, but wanted access to the pool this weekend as we expected sunny weather and had my daughters family out from the UK. As it happened there was a massive storm so not much swimming in the beautiful pool but we loved the weekend. The setting is so beautiful and the grandchildren loved the horses, hadedahs and the freedom to roam. The cottage is very well equipped and we even managed to make my daughter, a birthday cake in the oven! Thank you Mariet for a very comfortable cottage and for sharing your glorious farm with us ! giving us the opportunity to catch up with ourselves and have quality family time away from the hubbub of the city.

We have been a number of times to Boschkloof at different times of the year, and this time we chose to go over Christmas. Of course it was hot, but air conditioning certainly helps, as does the river, and the pool. It was a lovely (if not traditional) Christmas. We saw the San paintings (est 6,000 gobsmacking years old), and encountered very placid baboon troops, walked up the gorge, went 4x4-ing round the farm, and of course had braais and walks and sundowners galore. I have started going through my own pagan rituals when I come to Boschkloof now, making sure that I spend at least an hour under the incredible Cederberg display of stars, sitting by the river and watching the river-life unfold, and trying to get some time alone in the kloof, just musing at the mountains. Also- the flock of birds that comes in over the valley calling each other at sundown, every night without fail. The houses are lovely, plenty of fridge and freezerspace, everything works. One can just relax. Totally secure, completely private and very welcoming. Next time- we are going up in winter: bring on the fireplaces and red wine :) Thanks, Mariet. Big fan of your farm!!

Incredibly restful and calm location with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Mariet was a fantastic, attentive host who made sure our stay was enjoyable. The cottage had a fully equipped kitchen and two beautiful rooms, and the pool next to the terrace was absolutely divine. A must if you're looking for accommodation in the beautiful Cederberg area!

If you are looking to completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle, Oude Boord cottage at Boschkloof Farm is it! Lovely, simple accommodation with no TV/ reception which allows one to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. Very private and secluded. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
