We spent 3 nights as a family (us and our 3 kids) in Boschkloof cottage. The area and the house is really charming... as well as super clean, well equipped ... we have enjoyed the pool, feeding the horses, playing with the dogs (Im really not a dog fan but these ones are super good and well behaved), went for a walk on the property on the edge of the Cederberg. Mariet is a great host. The location is great to discover the Cederberg area, Clanwilliam etc. Will definitely recommend this place for families traveling ! And to look at the stars at night too :)

We have been coming to fabulous Boschkloof for the last 3 years and have loved it every single time. The peace and tranquility is incredible at this oasis. The cottage has everything one needs and Mariet and Doempie are fantastic hosts. We are definitely looking forward to going there again soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Boschkloof. Nice hiking (3 wonderful trails start at the farm), lovely views and the farm is just stunning. Would definitely like to come back one day! Thank you Mariet!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Boschkloof cottage. It is cozy and has everything you could need for a wintery weekend away in the mountains. Just be aware that the cottage is on the doorstep of the main farmhouse so isn't as secluded as the other cottage on the farm. Access to beautiful mountain hikes right from the farm and super friendly dogs to join you for the walk - definitely a highlight!

This is our second visit to Boschkloof, and both visits have been wonderful. Last time we stayed at Oude Boord which was wonderful for its privacy and seclusion, but wanted access to the pool this weekend as we expected sunny weather and had my daughters family out from the UK. As it happened there was a massive storm so not much swimming in the beautiful pool but we loved the weekend. The setting is so beautiful and the grandchildren loved the horses, hadedahs and the freedom to roam. The cottage is very well equipped and we even managed to make my daughter, a birthday cake in the oven! Thank you Mariet for a very comfortable cottage and for sharing your glorious farm with us ! giving us the opportunity to catch up with ourselves and have quality family time away from the hubbub of the city.
