The Domaine de la Cour Vautier is located in the tiny town of Mandeville en Bessin in the countryside about 9 miles west of the large city of Bayeux in Normandy. It is about 5 miles south of Omaha Beach. When we arrived, we were greeted by Marie-Agnes and Benoit. We sat at a table in their lovely garden and...

Our family stayed with Benoit and Marie-Agnes for only a night and truly regretted we did not stay longer. We were greeted by both with apple cider and umpteen maps and pamphlets of the area and wonderful suggestions on how to spend our single day in Normandy. The rooms were nicely updated and clean, the bathroom a regular size, the...

We stayed again with Marie-Agnès and Benoít Spriet and found Domaine De La Cour Vautier just as charming a second time. For travelers during the height of D-Day visits (month of June and on), you will find this B&B outside of the crush of traffic, but close enough to easily visit all the key sites. Highly recommended.

Our family of four stayed at this B&B (connected 2 rooms suite - van Gogh) for almost a week and appreaciated highly the quality of the rooms (spacious, good beds, charming interior), delicious breakfast and the overall hospitable and easy-going atmosphre created by the hosts, who also provided us a lot of good tips as regards places to see. The B&B was beautiful. Located 10 minutes drive away from the Normandy landing beaches. The rooms were newly renovated. The furnishings were new, the bed was firm, the ensuite toilet and shower were clean. I stayed in a room with my parents, there was one double bed and one single bed. My sister was in the next building, accessible by...

My husband and I stayed at this B&B in the Normandy area last week. Marie-Agnes and Benoir were delightful and caring hosts. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us with glasses of cider. We spent a wonderful hour laughing and learning about the area. Our room was spacious, lots of room to store clothes and it opened to a...

We found this beautiful place just driving around. Marie-Agnes & Benoit were most kind welcoming us. We had a very pleasant chat, with local apple-cidre :), while they made the room ready. The room itself was amazing. Large and well taken care of. Breakfast was included, simple but very enjoyable. Coffee was great! A very good and beautiful place to...

My wife and two daughters stayed at Domaine de la Cour Vautier only one night, but we would have loved to stay longer. Marie-Agnes and Benoit could not have been nicer. They presented us with terrific cider when we arrived and sat with us to explain the property and get us oriented in Normandy. They speak some English, but it...

Stayed here with my husband in early September of 2012 for 2 nights after checking out of another place in Normandy where the owners were not that nice. When we arrived, we were greeted by Marie-Agnes and Benoit with smiles, cookies and apple juice made from the apples in orchard on the property. We felt immediately welcomed, and the entire...

It was a pleasure to stay at La Domaine De La Cour Vautier. The rooms have a warm atmosphere, are just renovated and very clean! Marie-agnes and Benoít are very kind hosts with 60 apple trees and according to this they serve great home made apple juice and cider. After a bike trip through the normandy, we stayed at 6...
