I was able to check in before check in time, however my room is not as clean as it should be. Upon getting off the elevator to our room you can feel and smell the moisture and mildew in the air. Our room is directly in front of the elevator and our door has a huge gap underneath it. The entryway floor was dirty with shoe markings, food crumbs and smeared raisins. I showed the person cleaning the room next door. She sprayed some cleanser and ran a dry towel over it. It still was not clean. Our room was musty and humid. The curtains are visibly dirty, I don't even want to touch them to open and close them. The balcony is nice but too loud to enjoy and it faces another building. The closet smells of smelly, dirty, wet, funky sneakers, and the hangers are dirty. Thank God the doors close to keep the smell out because I'm definitely not using it. The toliet looks clean but smells of urine, and the floors have shoe markings as well. The couch needs to be thrown in the trash. It's so lumpy, hard and uncomfortable. I didn't change rooms because the hotel is sold out. My room is fully paid for so getting a refund and changing locations takes time and extra money I don't have. I took a trip to the store for cleaning products. I got on my hands and knees and cleaned the floors. Bleach to the base of the toliet took the urine smell away. I wiped all surfaces and handles for the finger smears I saw and didn't see. I re cleaned the kitchen and its dishes. Turning the air conditioner up, Plug ins, and scented candles masked the stuffy moisture of the room. I also placed a towel under the door to keep the hallway smell and moisture out. Overall I'm very unhappy with how they clean their rooms especially during a pandemic. I would not recommend this location and I will not be a returning customer.…
Stayed here for over a month for work and enjoyed my stay. Rooms are a good size and have a kitchen with full side refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and pots/pans, dishes and silverware. Front desk is friendly. Has free washer and dryers too.
We stayed at Staybridge for 7 days. Room on 4th floor, asked for higher, as booked room with balcony, but was told had no other rooms. Nice suite, kitchen with full sized refrigerator, 2 burner stovetop, dishwasher, microwave and equipped with service for four. Nice counter, with two high chairs. Refrigerator noisy as I had read in reviews. Living area comfortable, guide for tv a little off. Bedroom nice size with chair, bed was comfortable, but pillows a little soft. Bathroom nice, water pressure, good but shower head sprays all over. Balcony was nice, view of basketball court and pool. Everyone seemed nice and accommodating. Breakfast was decent, pretty good variety as was evening meal, with wine and beer. Walking distance to a number of restaurants, one right in parking lot area. Walmart about a thirty minute walk, walking park right across the street. All in all a nice week.…
I’ve passed the age to enjoy night life at South Beach, therefore, I was very happy to find this cute hotel with a full kitchen in the room. It’s located in a peaceful neighborhood. The room was cozy and clean. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again.
We stayed twice, once in December and again in January. Excellent location for airport/Doral area. Easy access, near to restaurants and shopping . Hotel is quiet and comfortable. Staff is friendly and courteous. Rooms are very well appointed, fully equipped, comfortable beds, although sofa bed mattresses could be better. Breakfast is varied and has a good selection of breakfast foods. Would be happy to book here again in the future.
