Everything was excellent. Got free room upgrade upon arrival. Had virtually the whole place to ourselves most of the time (late December 2015). On some of the dives me and my partner had 4 guides to ourselves. The guides and boat crew are top notch and take excellent care of your camera equipment (as if it were their own). Hot... More

What can I say, the diving was spectacular we saw mimics, wunderpus, flamboyant cuttle fish, frog fish, pipe fish, and practically everything a macro seeker wishes to find on the black volcanic sands of Lembeh Strait. The resort was amazing, we had a free upgrade to the honey moon suites which were on the beach and beautiful, and the food... More

We returned for second stay after 3 years. Booked and paid direct via their website which was an easy process. As we expected the accommodation, food and diving was exceptional. Typical day as follows. Great breakfast in restaurant with vast choice of local and Western food with fresh fruit and great coffee. Morning dive, the morning tea served at dive centre... More

The service and friendliness was excellent.Room well maintained and restaurant still as good as ever. The diving was amazing with really competent guides. You are asked for your 'wish list' of critters you want to see and a lot of effort is spent on making this happen even though it is unpredictable. We will be back.

Actualy enjoyed my stay. Awesome diving spots for critter. The room is clean. But i saw a huntsman spider about the size of my palm inside the room. And the service there (diving and tours) are pricey. Overall its okay, not bad for a diving resort.

Arriving at Manado Airport was actually pleasantly surprising, especially late at night. We took a long drive down to the Resort which is a little nerve racking when you have never been to this part of Indo before, and are being escorted there in the dark. Low and behold, we woke up in paradise. Kungkungan Bay Resort is almost indescribable... More

This was our third visit in 12 years and it has got better. The staff are really good, cheerful and helpul and the Manager is always around keeping in touch with the guests.. The rooms are still lovely, though the gardens were a bit tatty as there is much cutting and planting going on. The food is improved. As well... More

I came here after work with my colleagues who wanted to show me this beautiful resort and I was certainly impressed not only with the beautiful facilities, attentive staff, but the whole place. They have these beautiful wooden cottages on stilts overlooking the Lembeh Strait. Their diving facility was impressive and they have classrooms on the beach where you can... More

Thank you very much for the nice review. Our house reef is a great site to combine the beautiful coral, muck and some rubble. Not only you can sea lion fish, but it is a home of a few giant frogfish, some coral octopus, even the rare blue ring octopus. We hope we had the chance to take you diving... More

Kungkungan is a great place to stay. The bungalows are clean, spacious and well equipped. The staff is really very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and diverse. For divers there is a well equipped diving center and numerous diving sites close by. There is a lot of "muck diving" (sandy bottom) but still with a surprising quantity... More

This review is more about the resort than the dives. Lembeh has been and continues to be a fascinating destination for muck diving, so there really is no need to review the dive sites. On our previous dive trips to Lembeh, my wife and I stayed at Divers Lodge Lembeh(DL) and NAD Lembeh Resort(NAD). In reviewing Kungkungan Bay Resort(KBR), I... More
