The official name of this hotel is actually "Jinding Hotel". I hope Tripadvisor rectify this as I was having difficulty searching for reviews for this hotel. Although we paid RMB688 for the room which is supposed to have floor heating, the heating took 4-5 hrs to have any effect, and even then, the temperature only increased from 10degC to 15... More

We checked in advance online that a hotel room cost 300 yuan only and plenty of rooms were left so we decided to walk in. But the price on spot was a min of 500 yuan. We were given a very basic room. The wire of the electric water pot was almost broken that it's dangerous to boil water (but... More

The Golden Summit hotel was decent for a 3 star hotel and it had heated flooring but still the room felt cold (<20 degrees) even with heater set to 50 degrees. The staff were friendly by China's standards and gave us tips about the sunrise. The bed was decent but the pillows were soft and I had to stack a... More

My parents and I had returned from Emeishan to Chengdu, and stayed an unforgettable night in the Golden Hotel, which is booked by Beijing Holiday for us, because of the cold weather, though the heater worked well. But the room is very clean and functional with private bathroom. It is also very close to the cable car exit of the... More

This is the best hotel to stay if you plan to photograph sunset and sunrise. Hotel is about a 20 min to the Golden summit where it will allow you to take some good photo if the weather permit. Pack a overnight bag if you are staying at this hotel. Transportation is not convenient for large bag.

We stayed at the Golden Summit Hotel for one night in November 2013 while visiting Mt Emei. As others have mentioned, the hotel is very close to the cable car exit, on the right as you walk towards the summit. We had an en suite twin room which was clean and functional as was the bathroom. Nothing special, but you... More

Stayed in Golden Summit hotel whilst visiting Mt. Emei. We have booked 3 rooms for six persons and in view of the super pick season, we paid more than it should be. It is quite cold at night and fortunately the heater worked well. Breakfast would only be provided if the guests took their dinner in the hotel. We ordered... More

i came here on a school trip many years back. the room was clean, very comfortable and the hotel itself provide many amenities. the main issue, quite a few of such amenities are not really children friendly. for example, dubious massages palours, jackpot & mahjong rooms. The hotel itself is halfway up the peak of E-mei summit and provides you... More

I was rather petrified before checking into the hotel as the reviews of the past were absolutely horrifying. Readers shall have a sigh of relief to note that the refurbishment was completed & it's quite grand despite its three star rating. It's literally outside the exit of the cable car station on the peak of E-Mei Mountain. From pictures, you... More
