The Anantara Emei Resort is located around 10km from the Emei Railway Station. It is a very nice resort. We arrived at the hotel around 6 in the evening. We were greeted by the concierge and checked in fairly quickly. The staff are very nice and efficient and offered tea for us during the check-in process. We dined at their...

This resort used to be managed by Anantara, hence, the tropical theme of the place. Nonetheless, it has retained its excellent service, there are even handful of staff who speak English and others are learning, which is a good sign. Rebecca, the Duty manager, was extremely helpful and she took the effort to write out instructions in English and Chinese...

The resort is owned/managed by Thailand's Anantara luxury hotels group hence the tropical theme, never mind that this is in a mountainous area of China, and it's winter and wet and dreary. We chose it as it's the only international brand hotel near Emei Shan/Mountain, which we were visiting the next morning. The hotel opened in 2014, although why it's...

Mixed review about this hotel! + liked the facilities, our kids loved their kids club which had long and flexible hours and was the perfect place to practice their mandarin, lovely staff there, chinese food ( noodles, hot pots, ...) is far superior than the western one, big resort so you don't feel overcrowded, rooms are quite large and they...

The place is wonderful, most of the staff can not say more then hello or goodbye in english, but it is still a wonderful place. Of course is a new area made of new buildings, restaurants, wide roads and newly planted trees. Good to relax, but if you search the flavour of Sichuan, stay in any hotel in Emeishan mountain...

We have 5 nights' stay at this hotel of Jacuzzi Villa (private single floor house with private jacuzzi and surprising a separated small house for mahjong). I am sure this is the best hotel in Emei district in the sense of hotel service, land-scape, comfort, cleanliness and silence. The hotel is located at the closest location of Emei Mountain. Going...

Stayed for 2 nights. Was upgraded to the deluxe jaccuzi villa which was huge and beautiful. You get your own private hot spring jacuzzi. The staff were all friendly but not many are proficient in English. The swimming pool is quite big with a few jaccuzis and also a fish spa. It was very quiet during the weekdays. The place...

This resort is about 10mins away from Emeishan town and does not offer all free shuttle. Met by a pleasant Frank from concierge and was checked in by Doris efficiently as it was a non-peak week. Communication in English is rather challenging except for Frank. The concept of the rooms are resort style but looks dated especially the bathrooms need...

We spent 1 night here in Room 3115. Booked a prepaid rate for about USD 200. For the price we paid and this being China, we had high expectations. We arrived at night and it was rainy and stormy. Our room was not connected to the Lobby and a buggy was used to get us to our building. Needless to...
