3 Luxurious double roomed lodges make up for accomodating up to 12 guests and the main house serves as a library/TV-room (although we never even turned it on to see if it works), a souvenir shop, lounge area, breakfast and coffee bar as well as the common dining place when at the lodge. I'm just about to check out from this indeed wonderful lodge where I have spent 12 days. With a maximum of 12 guests you are assured a more personal stay. This may explain the many retuning guests. Situated by a river in the Greater Kruger area the wild and real Africa with an abundant wildlife is just a few meters... More

Mpala Lodge turned out to be better than we could've have imagines. Driving to the lodge we were stopped in our path to elephant and giraffe's crossing. We were welcomed by the whole staff and swept away to a fabulous lunch. Our accommodations were perfect, the whole staff was amazing and took such great care of us. Mpala is unique... More
