We were treated very kindly by staff who spoke excellent English. Dinner was tasty, though certainly a bit overpriced. Wine menu seemed to have only dry and semi-dry bottles. The table setting for dinner (on the patio) was very pleasant. One drawback to the place is the parking. The lot is small, and the narrow entrance can be obstructed by...

We slept here in January 2017--waiting staff were so kind and accommodating, the chateau is lovely and the room we had (in one of the towers) was a bit small (being in the tower) but absolutely lovely with beautiful decor. There is a lovely drawing room and a Michelin-star restaurant where we had dinner. Food was lovely and sophisticated. Thanks...

A lovely stay in a retrofitted chateau. Attentive service and pleasant staff. Great restaurant on premise as well. However, be careful when being charged. I was charged an extra night incorrectly and I am still trying waiting to hear word from the chateau for a reversal of the charge. Otherwise, a very nice and romantic stay.

This was our first stay at Chateau de Pray and we absolutely loved it. The New Year's eve dinner on the 31st of December - 2016 was just like a funfair of wonderfully prepared delicious food. The service was great and team had really worked hard to make the evening of its most for the guest.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Arrived late the first night and the staff was very accommodating and took care to be sure we were not rushed, but still able to dine in the restaurant. Enjoyed two dinners at the restaurant and they were to die for. Good, service and environment were stellar.

Very nice location for touring the Loire vally. A car is a must to stay in this hotel as it is out of Amboise, but very close to town and just off the high way in a quiet majestic location. We had two rooms, one of them is the family room , which is two connected rooms with one entrance...

The chateau is delightful and perfectly located to tour around to various locales. We stayed a week, dined the first night at their Michelin rated restaurant, then relaxed some late afternoons in their open area and by pool. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was quaint but had everything you needed. We would return there for sure!

We booked the superior room, it was on the second floor up a curved staircase. This was no problem for us, but should be considered for people with difficulty climbing stairs. The room had all of the charm of an historic chateau, the bath area was updated with the latest features, there was a separate toilette area. We stayed the...

We had an absolutely fabulous stay in this beautiful Chateau. From the minute we arrived, we felt special and welcomed by the whole team. As we entered the property we were astonished by both the gardens and the castle, beautifully maintained and amazingly laid out. From then on everything was dream-like... a warm welcome, a sincere emphasis on our comfort...

On our trip to the Loire Valley visiting Chateaus we thought it would be great to stay in one. We were not disappointed Chateau De Pray was outstanding. The location near Amboise is great for Chateaus Amboise and Chenonceau. The hotel is beautiful and authentic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds beautiful.
