I visited this gem of a place during mid April. And it is exactly what they say on Internet. Access: M not gonna lie but reaching there can be tricky if you are a first timer. I drove from Delhi and it took me around 10 hours. The super helpful staff received me at Chillichina

We were a bunch of friends who took all the 5 rooms at the estate. We were looking for a Himalayan retreat that offers exclusivity and serenity. We found that and much more. Amit and his staff took good care of us right from the start. We were received at the road head by

We had no idea that there was a 15 minute trek down a steep path to get there (and of course a twenty minute return hike just to get back to road to start ant excursion. At around 2000 metres high you had better be fit. Wen we arrived our bedroom was very cold and the supposedly

Dear Robert, Thank you for taking time out to give a review. We are sorry we could not meet your expectations. The area we operate in is extremely beautiful and the people most hospitable. However, it is not a developed area and working there comes with its own challenges. We do our utmost to prepare our guests beforehand about the experience so that they can take an informed decision of coming. We tried to do that in your case as well but may be the agent may have failed to do so. We have noted the problems highlighted by you and we will surely work on them, so that we are able to meet the expectations of our future guests and make their stay a memorable one. We appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to write to us and truly value your feedback. Thank you once again for your feedback. Best regards, Team itmenaan

Dear Chandresh. Thank you so much for your insightful review. We are truly humbled by your gracious comments on the property, the service and our teams at Itmenaan Estate. It is our constant endeavour to provide an alternate hospitality and adventure experience to our guests. As you know, Itmenaaan is also an acronym that stands for Relaxation'. All our resort attempts to move away from the regular vacation experience and it is indeed heartwarming to learn that this unique concept is being noticed and applauded by discerning guests. Thank you for highlighting the walks, the room, the area and surroundings and the food. We hope to welcome you back to Itmenaan Estate and our other properties in the future and in the meantime, do keep in touch via our social media sites on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay updated with all our latest news. Do check our other properties in Punjab and Bhimtal namely "Punjabiyat near Amritsar" and "Fredy's Bungalow, Bhimtal". They are all unique experiences. Warm Regards, Team Itmenaan

about a 20 min hike from the road. The walk is ok, just the uneven stones make it a bit difficult, you might have to keep your eyes on the track so you dont twist an ankle ( then youll have a problem ). Ask for a room in the building closest to the dining area so you dont have to walk down a path for meals. Pretty place...give it a shot.

Hi.Group of 12 is large for this small resort. Except for the suite, the other rooms are rather small. You have to be physically fit to reach the resort.Besides there is only a small village nearby. So if you want to eat gluten free food, it would be best to call and ask the resort their culinary skills.

Who is the Architect for this property. Pl help with with the query
It's vernacular architecture. You'll see the style all over the region -- it's a bit like the style of dwellings in rural Italy. The Itmenaan properties are tastefully restored: comfortable but simple.
