Perched on a hillside, amidst a quaint Kumaon Himalayan village, Ayush’s cottages offer modest but clean and comfortable stays. Located about 4 Km from Almora, on the road to Binsar, the property overlooks the valley of Balti Badi. Interspersed with small gardens and organic fruits and vegetable patches, the cottages are interconnected by pathways. Ayush is more than a guest-house, but is not a hotel – though it offers basic amenities, a clean and comfortable stay, and a limited menu. Enjoy the crisp, cool mountain air and an amazing view of the Himalayas! There is also a small shop and a well stocked library for guest use. Free wiFi is available.

We always look out for a place which is away from our life in concrete jungle and heavy traffic of Delhi and fortunately we found one.what a place it's a home away from home.raju is not a host he treats you like his family.excellent stay.a must visit and will recommend everyone you visit.

We visited the guest house in the month of June. The weather was quite pleasant barring a few spells of rain. The best part of the stay was the room and the food. The room that we booked is called the Nest. It would actually give you the feel of living amid trees in a picturesque locale. The food that the cooks prepared in their in-house kitchen was excellent. Don't expect restaurant food and flavours. Even the options are limited-rice,roti, daal and one curry. There's a living room in the reception area with a small shelf for books which has an excellent collection. If you are enthusiastic and adventurous, only then go for this place. No vehicle can drop you till the gates. It's a long trek downhill, quite difficult for people with ailments related to knees and legs. Though we booked a food inclusive package, even then we were charged for the omelettes that we ordered. Moreover, the person who carries your luggage up and down the hill also charges extra money, that could have been included in the package. Other than minor negatives, it can be called an excellent place to stay for a few days. The surroundings and friendly neighbours would make your day. Beware of dogs while exploring the surroundings in the evening. They can be dangerous as we were attacked by one. The trek, up and down the hills was the highlight of this place. Exciting it is!
