On and among the trees in our five tree houses there is a route to hide away of fantasies. In the 21 acres area of land lies an option of experiencing the snug life inside the rooms or venture out in the tiger-infested wild. The property has its resident species of birds, reptiles and animals residing around the forest trees and over time the area has now become a small secure park for them. You can spend your time unseen and undisturbed in the intimacy of your room or choose to go looking for wild animals & birds in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.

Like almost everywhere in India the people/staff were VERY VERY nice, polite and attentive. There are only 5 tree houses so there are never too many people there. At the the treehouses are far enough away from each other so you do no hear your neighbors. We were in Treehouse #3 and did hear the kitchen staff (that's who we assumed they were) quite a bi, but during daylight hours only so we didn't mind.

At night its gets very dark but they give you rechargeable flashlights. They are very eco friendly. All guests get a metal reusable bottle and they have a water purification system right on site to refill your bottles. The rooms got cool at night, we were there in March. They have their own farm and grow some of their own vegetables. They try very hard to satisfy all dietary restrictions, we had a meat eater, a vegetarian and someone who couldn't eat dairy and we were all well fed.

They have a "bar" area to lounge in and they provide games and books for reading and playing. They have a few surprises inshore for guests but I don't want to give them away for future guests. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. But I do have a few suggestions for management if they're reading:
1 - Guests are requested to turn off the master switch when leaving the treehouse but as tourists we really need to charge batteries and other electronics so it would be great to have at least 1 outlet available to charge items when guests leave the room.
2 - provide washcloths to your guests.

I was looking for a special experience on this trip as this was on occasion of my daughter turning 7. Connected with few resorts, ultimately chose Pugdundee THH as they seem to communicate honestly. I must say the experience was beyond my expectation. There were couple of minor niggles during check-in which were taken care of quickly. From then onwards it was smooth sailing. They took care of our every request. Sanitization and protocols followed inside premise are very assuring. They only have 5 tree houses in the property, so you are assured the place won't be ever crowded (which is important in these days). They have got their own vehicles and naturalists for safari. For morning safari, you get packed breakfast which is served by the naturalist (cum driver). Arranged a surprise bush dinner on knowing our special occasion, which was just awesome. We were lucky to spot tiger on our safari second morning, which made this trip even more memorable. Well, sighting always involves quite a bit of luck. But I must thank all the hard work that the team did on the background. Balwant - who went to book permit in person at early morning (at 4:30 AM) since the online booking was already closed when I finalized the safari. He also accompanied me to a nearby ground for night sky photography the previous night, knowing that I am interested in night sky photography. Lastly, this review would remain incomplete if I didn't mention the cuisine. Even the lauki (which I strongly dislike) tasted so nice that I kept licking my finger..
Ashis and team - you are doing a great job, keep it up. Definitely you have added a fan of Pugdundee Safaris.

We stayed 3 nights in the Tree House Hideaway. It came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. The staff were exceptional and the food delicious. There was always someone waiting on us. They walked us back to our treehouse at night and made sure that we had everything we needed. We were there in January and it was quite cold at night. They put hot water bottles in our bed during dinner and also a heater in our room so it was toasty warm when we arrived back from dinner. They also made sure we had hot water bottles on our morning drives. Very ecologically minded in everything they did.

The location of the tree house to the national parks is excellent. I highly recommend this place. Along with seeing tigers, this was a highlight of our trip.

The experience of living in a treehouse was something I will always cherish. Although in times of Covid, one would think before travelling anywhere but once you are in the Treehouse hideaway property all your worries will be forgotten. The level of safety, cleanliness and social distancing maintained is commendable. The staff had masks on at all times and the kitchen staff had a face shield on top of the mask which was note-worthy.

The rooms were beautiful and squish clean with all amenities. The house keeping team worked round the clock to make sure the beds were made when we were out exploring the property. Hot bags were tucked and well placed in our bed for us to feel warm since we travelled during winter. We witnessed unexpected rainfalls while our stay and guess what, we even had an umbrella handy in our room while we walked till the dining area/restaurant. That I would say, makes all the difference and is a proof of a well thoughtful hosts that Treehouse Hideaway is.

The food options were many as it has a multi-cuisine restaurant. The taste was top-notch and the staff were friendly and on their toes doing their best.

It was a perfect weekend getaway from the city madness that each one of us seeks. The chirping of the birds while you chill in the balcony was my favourite part of the stay. Mr. Ashish ensured a comfortable stay. To sum it up, this place as it's name says is a HIDEAWAY that you seek from your daily chaos added with top notch safety and cleanliness.

The idea of visiting Bandhavgarh just clicked and we stumbled upon this property while searching over the internet. Reasons like an actual TREEHOUSE to experience, great reviews, located right in the middle of the forest (buffer zone) were good enough for us to finalize this resort. Mr Pankaj, who was very helpful, helped us with the bookings and payments.
We took flight from Delhi to Jabalpur and from there hired a cab to reach this magnificent property.
We were awake since last night and way too tired after the flight and visiting Bhedaghat Boating Point & Dhuadhar Falls (the hidden gems of Jabalpur) in the morning. But almost 3 KMs before this resort, our tiredness & fatigue simply vanished.
It was like we entered a fantasy world. The melodies of the birds, tress and everything about the forest got us fully charged.
Upon reaching, we were warmly welcomed by staff.
We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days Everything at this resort was amazing. The room was spacious, well-equipped with all the modern amenities that allowed us to enjoy the nature with utmost luxury.
The first night dinner in the forest, known as Bush Dinner, was a pleasant surprise.
Luckily, our mobile internet was working great so we never felt the need for the resort WiFi.
The food was so delicious especially the Carrot Salad & the cold soups, that I crave for them now even while writing this review.
Big Shoutout to Mr Ashish, Chaubey Ji, Pandit Ji and their whole team of Treehouse Hideaway for their dedication, humility and sincerity. They made sure that our trip was no less than a memorable stay.
We were quite apprehensive for our 2nd day Tiger Safari as we had pre booked only one but Mr Ashish convinced us to go for another one as one is not enough!
Guess what, it the best decision we made as we ended up spotting 4 tigers!!
Chaubey Ji made sure our breakfast during the morning we left for Tiger Safari. Moreover, he was our guide during one of the Tiger Safaris. You will surely love his legendry folklore about the tiger reserve, forest & life.
Pandeyji has been with the resort since it's inception. He happily accompanied me (without even me asking him) for the safari booking, which I decided at the last moment. He made sure that the booking was done smoothly.
One of the best things about this resort was the breakfast they packed for us. It was sufficient not only for us but also the driver and the guide.
We would love to visit this resort again and again!!

If you like a little adventure on your vacation, go on a tiger safari with Pugdundee at their Tree House Hideaway. We had Karan as our guide. He was excellent. We were very lucky in that in two days we saw 6 tigers which we were told was very usual. Be cognizant of when you go. We were there in February and it got cold at night. However our rooms were warmed with small space heaters and hot water bottles in the bed. In the morning when we left for our safari it was still chilly but we were again provided with hot water bottles to put on our laps in the jeep and huge ponchos to wear. I'm not telling you this to scare you but to just give you a heads up. Despite these little inconveniences, our adventure and the accommodation was absolutely excellent. Definitely a trip we will remember forever. And thank you again to Karan and the entire staff for a great job done.

I spent 3 nights days in Tree House Hideaway. The lodge has an excellent location, being very close to Tala gate of Bandavgarh National Park.
The rooms are located in a tree (we use a staircase to go to our room); each room has a balcony. They are very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and effective. The food is excellent and varied. We had a dinner under the stars.
We made morning and afternoon game drives with our naturalist guide Ashish Abraham which has a high never of knowledge on fauna and on birds; he is also an excellent tracker for wild animals. I recommend to ask for Ashish as a naturalist guide if you decide to stay there to do Bandavgarh National Park.
According to me, it is the best lodge were to stay in Bandavgarh!!!

Our childhood dream of staying on a tree top cottage was fulfilled on 3rd March2023 when we arrived at our pre booked Tree House Hideaway Resort at Bandhavgarh, M.P. The Resort is situated very close to Tala Gate and the approaching road gives a feel to the safari we would undertake. This Resort is quite big and shares its boundary with the forest. Our room was named Palash and we had to climb several stairs to reach it. The room was cosy and luxurious with bright sunlight and a beautiful balcony overlooking at one side of the property. The exclusion of plastic was the moto of the Resort and we were presented with our individual steel water bottle. The décor, the ambience and everything gave us a special feel of being nestled in a deep forest. The resort boosted this spirit of being one with the forest in their dining room area and everywhere. The staff entertained us with exciting and sometimes scary anecdotes of how once a tiger entered the Resort chasing a Sambhar deer upsetting the Guests who were blissfully partaking a bush dinner or how a herd of wild elephants forcibly entered the Resort and the staff had to fire crackers to chase the herd out of the property. The food was wonderful and the vegetables mostly came from their kitchen garden. The chef created many magic with the ingredients and made our stay very pleasant. Overall, our stay in the resort was very memorable.

This was my first time ever in a tree house. We had a great time at this jungle lodge. Ashish, Kadir, Chaubeji and Raj ji have been the most amazing hosts one could ask for. From the cleanliness to the cuisine to the ever helpful staff like dalbeerji and shravanji we are really grateful for how you all made us feel.. just like home just like a close knit family. They arranged breakfast at their kitchen garden, twice we were surprised by a candle lit dinner so close to the forest. What a surreal feeling. I did not feel like going back and was super emotional to leave the place and the people behind. But this only means we shall meet soon and I cannot wait to experience bandhavgarh in the summers. Thank you for all that you have done for us during the morning safaris ensuring we have enough warm blankets and hot bags and good breakfast.

We chose to stay at this property to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and we can only say that the entire experience exceeded the best of our imaginations.

Ashish and his team delivered the best of the best. We divided our stay into two focuses: the safari, and experiencing the lodge itself.

The room: Beautifully done, strong aesthetics of a hunting lodge cabin, and well situated. The amenities were outstanding as well.

Food and beverage: High quality ingredients, local and international fusion menus curated, and centred around the balance of flavour with quantity.

Services: Ashish and his team showed us what the true meaning of bespoke services are. Services were extraordinarily personalised with meticulous attention to detail. For example, the rooms would be serviced without us having to request it at all, twice a day when we left for breakfast and dinner. The staff would ensure that the rooms were warmed, fragrant , and the water boilers were switched on at night, so that we would return to a comfortable temperature during the nights. They were attentive enough to leave hot water bags in the blankets to this end. During food and beverage services, the team were always attentive to each guest, and overall were always ready to help with anything at all.

Ruchika and Ashish facilitated our safari permits expeditiously (tatkaal) through the forest department on priority, despite the absence of available slots. The safari itself was an extraordinary experience, with the naturists and guides sparing no effort to inform our knowledge and track tigers and other fauna with dedication and real-time coordination with their colleagues. Ashish's team were kind enough to provide us blankets and hot water bags for our safari to keep us warm during what was a cold and foggy morning. To top it all, Ashish's team worked with the guides to arrange a safari breakfast in a vast open clearing in the middle of the forest. We were thrilled to have breakfast with the guide and naturists, which was a homely menu. Ashish too provided guidance on when would be best to spot tigers, being an expert wildlife photographer and a tiger tracking enthusiast himself.

Anniversary Surprise: Ashish and his team whipped up a surprise for our anniversary celebrations on the spot. This was completely the initiative of Ashish and his team without our knowledge and we were supremely bowled over. Firstly, they baked a cake for us on-site which was brought to our room. We were humbled by this gesture and so we made sure to share the cake with Ashish and the team. Secondly, Ashish and his team arranged a special and beautifully decorated outdoor lunch surrounded by trees near the water hole, and a menu which felt like home.

We were tremendously sad when our stay ended, and even now we can't stop thinking about when to return at the earliest.

A huge thank you to Ashish, Ruchika, and the team. We look forward to staying with you again soon.

P.S. Hope to explore the machaan next time!

Hello, Bandhavgarh as a park is known to have a highest density of tigers, therefore the sightings are good throughout the year. Since you are planning to travel in March, as per our past experiences we have had very good sightings in that time of the month. We however suggest to schedule your trip towards end of March and book a number of safaris to increase your chances manifold.
