Romantica Apartments is a wonderful 2 star Hotel situated with excellent sea view in the entrance of traditional village Koutouloufari, 800 metres from a clean sandy beach Star Water Park and1 km from the center of Hersonissos. A nice swimming pool with jacuzzi and sunbeds, excellent views of the Kretan sea, the dark green oils, the port of Hersonissos and the sounds of the birds and cicadas surround you there. You have plenty of choices to experience. You can stroll in the winding roads of the village, taste the delightful Greek specialties, visit workshops, practice sport life and diving at the sea, or join the night life of Hersonissos.

Booked up to come here as my family were staying in another hotel and was fully booked. Room was a good size as I booked a room for 3, living room, kitchen and a separate bedroom. That's about all the positives. If you love the type of place where the owners just let themselves into your room and any moment without knocking and have no concept of boundaries then this is the place for you. This happened on numerous occasions, even to the point they let themselves in and were chapping my bedroom door and walking in without a chance to answer. Again this wasnt even the maids, the owners! I can honestly say I've never met a rude Greek person until that stay. Shambles of a place, check out sunrise, Sundance or Marnie village. Great places with friendly staff, you won't be disappointed.…

I would recommend this place because of the location. The shops, cafes and bars are close to the apartements but not too close so it's not noisy. The room for four people is very nice with two balconies. The owner and cleaning lady were very kind. The only objection are the dishes which weren't clean when we came. The rest was very good. DISGUSTING, Cat swimming in pool, cockroaches the size of mice, lizards in the room, on the walls. The owners let themselves into tour accommodation whilst you're out. We booked for a month and left after just a week. The owners offered no refund at all and only concern was if we would leave a bad review and tried to blackmail us with rotten peaches. After swimming in the pool after the first day with my 1 year old daughter, later that day seeing a cat with the mange lazing by the pool and swimming in the water, I was told you get what you pay for and because we were on a hill, not the fact that the imbosile was feeding the wild cats. The fridge didn't work properly so the food I bought went rotten within 1 day. When confronted about the cockroaches the size of mice, we were again told you get what you pay for, its because of the greenery and we are on a hill. This place is a dive and the owners are really sneaky people. We lost 3 weeks of our holiday and actually jumped on a flight home in the end. After dealing with this type of people, I don't think I will go back to Crete, it put me off for life. The only good thing about this place was the woman in the local shop and she had nothing to do with the hotel. Would give zero stars if I could.…

very big rooms for its low price with a great view of chersonisos and to top that its close to the center meaning you wont be needing a taxi or bus to go around alsothe staff there was amazing and very friendly and helped me a lot by showing me around

Nice appartment, very friendly staff. The room got cleaned every day and we got new towels every other day. It’s a place where young and older people stay. It’s not a noisy place so we could sleep very well. The room was nice and the shower hot every day. We (Lars Jonk and i) will sure come back if we visit Creta again.

AVOID!!!!! OMG!!!! The worst apartments I’ve ever had to stay in we had booked for a week we stayed one night......absolutely awful management unhelpful not interested in rectifying any problems told you get what you pay for..... dirty shower didn’t work and fell apart when water was turned on reported this at 9 in the morning returned in the evening after a trip to the beach asked at reception if the shower had been fixed the managers answer was no she’d been to busy and had hundreds of other things to do that day and would try get it sorted the next day so deal with it as it. Not to forget the fridge don’t think that had been cleaned since fitting absolutely disgusting. I’ve added a picture of the view from our veranda.

We arrived late on Monday 9th July, my sister brother and I. From the start we experienced no customer service. We got to our room and everything in our room was broken, the toilet wouldn’t flush unless you done it manually lifting the ceramic plate off the top which was absolutely disgusting. The shower head was broken meaning you had to shower holding it instead of standing under it. The fridge was broken everything we put into the fridge froze. There was a pipe outside on the balcony that was broken and water was dripping out flooding our balcony floor. The front door had to be locked from the inside, therefore you had to lock it in the dark at night because you had to use the key which was also needed for the electricity to work. I had booked a room for 3 and we were put into a very small room with two single beds pushed together and a third bed squashed in the corner. The pool area was laughable, much smaller than it looked in the photos. There was no pool bar or anywhere to get a drink or something to eat. The reception area was never open so when you wanted to report a problem it was impossible as no one was EVER there. On our 5th night the girl from reception stopped us one evening coming in from dinner and literally said ‘you have to get out of your room tomorrow morning before 11 as there are other guests coming’. She said we were being moved to another room but this room was only for two people not three. I was absolutely confused as to why they would do this knowing there were 3 of us. I said to her that there was 3 Of us and we had paid for 3 people and her response was ‘I can refund for one night for the third person’. Her attitude was disgusting and she didn’t care that one of us had no bed to sleep in for our last night. I have never experienced more shocking and appalling customer service in all my life. She literally shrugged her shoulders when I said where was one of us meant to sleep. Luckily we had family staying elsewhere and they had room for my brother to have a bed. The next day she came up to us and ‘refunded’ us for one night giving us 5 Euro. I thought it was a joke. We also tried to report to her about everything broken in our room and she literally ignored it. Also the cleaners would have noticed all the faults in the room but nothing was done about it. On our last day our flight wasn’t to late at night, I went and asked the girl could we keep our room on a bit longer as being out of our room at 11am wasn’t going to be very helpful. She literally said ‘no’. I asked was there another room even we could get a shower later on and she said no, and to shower down at the communal shower at the pool which was dirty and freezing cold. I was absolutely horrified at her attitude and no help what so ever, she didn’t care. We then went back up to our apartment and we had a bang on the door, it was the manager literally shouting at us to get out of the room 6 minutes after the check out time. After the way we were treated getting kicked out of our room and leaving my brother no where to sleep and then being no help the day we were leaving throwing us out of our room at 11am and our pick up was not to 8pm that night. I am horrified angry and disgusted. It is beyond me how this place gets customers and is still open. Also they need to get a new receptionist who has basic customer service skills as the girls attitude was disgusting. To anyone thinking of booking here DONT!!!!!…

Very nice appartment with everything you need. The people there are kindly and helpfull. They'll give you gladly information about anything. The village is nearby chersonissos but it's still peacefull and quiet.

Among the places of Koutouloufari - this is one of the most cozy and nice looking, for great price. A great view from the roof of the apts, clean and nice swimming-pool with mosaic, and entrance full of different flowers. Also! A ping-pong table and a library from books, left by other visitors. All rooms are amazingly clean, have nice kitchen and balconies. Amazing family bussines with great result of visitors, that want to come again!
