We spent a week at the Petra Village Apartments back in June. It was the first stop on our 7 week trip to Europe and since returning home has definitely been voted the highlight, mainly because Crete is beautiful and the Greeks were so friendly. PVA certainly isn't a 5 start resort but we didn't have any complaints, the bed...

Stayed from The 1st of oct , till the 28 of oct. it's not a bad place, cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean, but very dated, I would. Say this place is for the older generation , teens will find this place a total bore, as the only entertainment is the bar, there...

We just returned from a nice relaxing week in Koutouloufari, where we stayed in Petra Village. Upon arrival the steep walk with luggage to our apartment in furthest block was a bit of a surprise. Petra Village consists of six blocks of apartments which are build on a mountainside. The apartment was nice with a real double bed on the...

Quite far from sea, one may go down and back once a day. Not very clean, but there was cleaning staff (mop etc.) near our door so we used it sometimes. There was...

This was our second stay at Petra Village and it was as good as ever. The rooms are adequate. The kitchen area is equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and electric two hob cooker. Yannis looks after the bar during the day and Manos during the evening. They are both very helpful and friendly as are the reception staff....
