This is such a special hotel - our favourite in all India in fact, and we continue to return. Yes, it truly deserves all the accolades & praise heaped on it by other reports on TripAdvisor. The magical arrival by boat, the lush greenness & tranquility of the resort, the bird life, the Keralan architecture, the wonderful choice of delicious...

My friend and I spent two relaxing days at the end of our vacation in Kerala at this fabulous resort. The staff were ever so helpful and accommodating and the resort itself is idyllic. The food was wonderful albeit a little pricey for evening meals, but overall a great selection from a buffet service to al la carte menus in...

This is like paradise - exotic birds, butterflies, Yoga, Ayurvedic Doctors and massage, learn to Carrom, make your own earrings, buy from the wonderful shop, look out at the massive lake with the rice-boats. Fantasitcs rooms, service and places to read and idle away your time.

Our trip to Kerela started with Kumarakom and started with stay at Coconut Lagoon. It has been one fabulous experience and a perfect start to our trip. The way to reach the property is only through waterways and that marks the beginning of your journey with nature in this God's own country. The traditional welcome with the melodious sound of...

We had a lovely few days in Cocunut Lagoon as part of a trip to southern India and Sri Lanka. This was the nicest place we stayed. One of the best things was the food, which was excellent. One lunch had the best array of vegetarian curries we'd had anywhere, which was saying a lot since we had eaten in...

This is a review which was kept in the back burner for way too long. we'd visited this place in 2011. The visit was for 3 days and the package included breakfast, lunch and dinner. Easily one of the most beautiful and classy places you can visit in India. The service, rooms, food and staff were all top notch. The...

Fabulous Kerala architecture. This hotel is perched on the lake. The facilities are excellent. Gorgeous to watch all the houseboats passing by. Complimentary boat trip down the river for sunset. The hotel looked after us so well. Open air bathroom. Superb hospitality services.

Dear Guest, thank you for that excellent comments. As you have rightly said our cottages and mansions are original antique buildings transplanted from nearby villages , they can be even called as vertical museums by itself. thank you and wish to welcome you back to Coconut lagoon in the near future.
