Tui Life Review Sept 2019 We have just returned from a week at Tui magic Life Bodrum. It was a very, very last-minute decision and we were delighted with our choice. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, lots pf lovely places to sit, all with great views at any time of day. Food available at any time of day long with coffee and cakes. Rooms cleaned to a very high standard every day. Balcony small but big enough for the two of us to sit out and we prefer to make use of the hotel and everything it has to offer rather than sitting in a balcony. Short bus ride or taxi into town which has lots of shops and restaurants. Great market trip ., got lots of bargains but the icing on the cake was the beautiful drive there with an excellent tour guide on board. The beach is small and shingly, but we only lie on the sun beds anyway and the water is turquoise and crystal clear. Plenty of activities but we chose just to chill ( and shop). We couldn’t fault the staff who are always on hand but not too intrusive. They are a credit to the hotel. I tend to be antisocial on holiday and my husband is the opposite. He convinced me to attend the Gala Evening held in the beach bar and I must say the General manager pulled a great ace out of his sleeve by booking the Rainbow Three Tenors from South Africa. They gave us a couple of unexpected renditions during meal time and then sang their hearts out with both opera and other music to the delight of the crowd, My husband made a request for them to sing Ed Sheeran ‘ You look beautiful Tonight’ and they delivered it in English and then in Italian – Magic. It was followed by the Silent Disco which was very funny and very enjoyable! Both he General Manager ( Utkv Celebi) and the Operations Supervisor Salih Bagdatli, were very friendly, approachable and it was obvious their sole intention was to ensure guests needs and wishes were taken care of. Being waved off by a line of flag waving staff including the managers as the bus left was lovely touch. We are already looking to book for next year , this time with more family.

Il start by saying do not travel if you are English!! Russian based hotel with the worst customer service in the world, when we arrived we were expecting a family room which is what I’d paid for, hotel offered us low cost room with 1 double and 1 single bed in for a family of 5 with a 1 yr old daughter, the reception staff added “ what do you want me to do” the next morning I was told to meet an English speaking rep to discuss this further this ended in the same outcome “ what do you want me to do “ much to my disgust we went with it and they kindly offered us another single bed which was great as we still had our 1 yr old sleeping in our bed for a week and even less space adding another bed!! We asked for a cot which they wanted to charge us for but when it finally came on day 2 it was filthy dirty and we refused it. Room DID NOT have a safe! It states the hotel is ALL INCLUSIVE this is not true , there’s 2 bars only one of which is open at any one time , if restaurant is open that’s the bar you use if restaurant is closed you use pool bar, and on the evening the pool bar opens at 9 and drinks finish at 10 after 10 you pay , there rule is 2 drinks per male 4 per female which is damn right disgusting! as I was the only male in my family I could get 2 drinks for 4/5 people which meant queuing twice for my family in a queue which was at least 20 people long no trays of drinks aloud if you can’t carry don’t order!!!! My 14 yr old daughter refused to go to the bar even in the day as the male bar staff were creepy as hell on the occasion I lost my temper I stated she was 14 all they did was talk in Turkish with the odd F word and laugh , I attempted to speak with the manager about this matter along with the rooms bars etc and he shrugged his shoulders and stated no English spoken!! Health and safety well in this country the place would be shut down , wiring hanging out of wall everywhere!! 2 lifts only one worked and each level it stopped on it didn’t meet the floor level ! holes in the floor around the pool you could break something on , and to top it off corner bead that a plasterer would fit completely pulled out from wall that could definitely leave a nasty cut on an adult but on my daughter who is just walking could really do some harm, it was honestly the worst place I’ve ever been to and I’ve done some travel in my time, our transfer back to airport wasn’t even displayed with the rest I asked why and the answer was “ Russian only” what the hell ??! We managed to get it sorted eventually and so so glad to be home!! I’ve included some photos but you really have no idea how dangerous this was for my young family especially my 1 yr old daughter !!

Where should I start??? Everything is priced in dollars ?? All geared up for Russian family’s .. even the staff speak Russian ... rooms very dated and no where to put anything ...food limited and very poorly presented .... only one key to each room which is welded to the key fob ! Terrible location as all the other hotels are all geared up for the Russians .. not that Iv anything against the Russians or turkey for that matter as in been coming to turkey for the last 13 years!!! Enquired about trips to be told we can’t go on most of them as the guides are Russian speaking only!!! Terrible out look from hotel as one way is a chicken farm and the other is a semi derelict block of flats ..... minimal bar staff hence massive and I mean massive cues all round the hotel , if you could actually call it a hotel??? TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE is all I can say ..... just don’t come here for you holidays ever !!!

We were here in september. It was terrible. Photos of this hotel is way far better than it really is. Dont go here if you are young, don't speak russian, don't like cats when they siting on the table where you eat, etc. Hygiene is very poor, flyers on a food, dishes smell like chlorine. The food is always the same, low quality and not tasty. Beach area looks like there are living homeless people, dirty and terrible view like in the movie "Slumdog millionaire". Beach bar is a parody! Sometimes if you are lucky you will get a water. No nightlife for young people. Hotel animaition is very poor and repeated every second night. The alcoholic drinks are diluted and you will get 100ml cups only, even for the beer... bring your own glasses!
