We were travelling with friends, and booked all four rooms plus dinner. We arrived mid afternoon and enjoyed a swim and relaxed by the pool. The rooms were all on the ground floor, and very comfortable. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace, followed by a lovely dinner cooked by Monique. The dinner was super, and overlooking the garden the terrace was a perfect location. The breakfast was beautifully presented, fruits, yogurts, home made jams, lovely breads, and was delicious. Monique and Serge were very warm and hospitable, and we enjoyed this stopover very much.

Right from the beginning, our experience was great. I communicated with Monique via email to book our 4 night stay. She even made restaurant reservations for us for our first night. Both Monique and Serge are everything I love about the French people - warm, helpful and friendly. Our rooms were wonderful and comfortable. The daily breakfast was a wonderful spread of breads, pastries, home-made jams, french butter, cheeses... Monique even made crêpes for us one morning. Serge is a good source of local information. He gave us great advice on things to see, and where to go. It is a testament to how great this place is that all the other guests we met during our stay were all returning guests. When it was time to leave, it felt like we were leaving new-found friends. Provence and Le Clos de l'Acacia has captured our hearts and we will definitely return to this beautiful part of France.

The minute you arrive at Le Clos de L'Acacia, the warmth of the welcome is evident. The hosts, Monique and Serge, welcome you like family and throughout your stay, nothing is a problem for them - from advising and booking restaurants for dinner to advising on cycle or walking routes. The local area around Maussanne is beautiful and the rooms reflect the Provencal scenery, each decorated in different colorus. The swimming pool is a good size and there are plenty of shaded areas around the pool for those who cant take the glorious southern sun all the time. Breakfasts - just like dinners which Monique cooks so well, you'd think she's a professionally trained Chef - are a delight. Book fast, there are only a handful of rooms!

Monique and Serge gives a warm and hurtful welcome that made us feel at home from the first second. With a lovely place, an excellent location along with some very good travel advices and a tasty breakfast (home made jams & garden berries) - "Le Clos de l'Acacia" is an excellent place to stay in Provence :))
