We spent a wonderful week at Podere La Castellina. Simona and Daniele were great hosts and recommended plus helped us book several local restaurants. The views from the accommodation are stunning, our highlights were lunch and evening drinks on the terrace and our children loved the pool. There are several apartments in total but it always felt like we had the place to ourselves (even though the apartments were full). The accommodation is quite rustic/ typical Italian style. The beds were comfortable and showers great plus the accommodation was very spacious. We had a perfect week, great weather and great location to visit the hilltop towns (we went to Siena, San Gimigniano, and Castle d'Elsa). Despite these unusual times (due to covid) we felt very safe on site and in all of the Italian restaurants.

Just back from a relaxing time in Tuscany. Simona and Daniele are perfect hosts, from prompt responses to our many booking queries to a very warm welcome when we arrived. They gave us plenty of recommendations on things to do and places to eat and we really enjoyed their own wine and cheese. The accommodation is well equipped and comfortable. We stayed in the Private Cottage which was beside the pool but was not noisy. The views from the pool and the terrace are spectacular. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Podera della Castellina and can recommend this to everybody! The warmth and hospitabilty of Simona and Daniele are unparalled! The photo's do not do justice to the location - it was even more spacious then we figured it to be. It's a 30 minute drive from most well known locations in Tuscany - Siena, San Gimi, etc - so really strategic - but it's very peaceful. With beautiful views and a very nice pool area to relax , as well as a very big terrace where you can enjoy the views, enjoy breakfast or dinner and certainly a glass of wine :-). there is a big supermarket (COOP) and a laundry place just 10-15 minutes away - as well as good quality restaurants - so everything you need closeby. We want to thank Daniele and Simona for the wonderful stay - we were sorry to have to leave. For those worrying about the heat: the walls are thick and keep in the coolness plus a fresh breeze picks up toward sunset, cooling the place down even more - we were here in August - and had some nights where it was actually a bit chilly even..
