I stayed in one of their basic, unrenovated rooms. It was comfortable and clean. Restaurant has a wide selection and there's a good breakfast spread. Wifi is good, but seems to be limited to common areas. Nice inner terrace. Very centrally located.

Hotel Florida in Filadelfia: on our way by bus from Asunción, Paraguay to Bolivia (Santa Cruz) this proofed to be a very good place to rest, so we stayed here a couple of days. You can speak German here (not with everyone of the reception, but with one staff member) and they can gave good advice how to travel from...

Hotel Florida has a nice shaded pool, which was amazing during our summer time stay. The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is decent. The breakfast is better than most in PY. This is the most I have ever paid for a hotel in PY and I have stayed in much nicer places. They have a monopoly and...

Filadelfia is around 5 hours away from Asunción. There are no real urban centers between the capital and Filadelfia, so it feel somewhat remote. It is a small city. I was not expecting such a nice hotel in this kind of location. It is simple, but clean and comfortable. There is a terraza in the middle with a lovely large...

Price includes a buffet breakfast, and free internet. The last time we stayed we took one of the newer rooms and it...

This is a basic hotel, but perfectly OK for a few days, and conveniently located for exploring the Dry Chaco. But if you are going north, make sure you have a very tough vehicle, the road is currently terrible (2014)

You can hear noises rooms like plumbing etc so soundproofing is not perfect, and the maid left my shower window open so in the am there were 6 or 7 mosquitos in the shower to kill but those were only complaints....

My husband, daughter and I just came back from two night stay at this hotel, where we were greeted with amazing hospitality along with high level of cleanliness all around. We had two rooms on the ground level and slept without problems. Clean spacious rooms with excellent breakfast buffet. The staff went over and beyond to accommodate us and make...

The hotel corresponds to a four-star-rating in Europe. Clean and pleasant, large rooms. The only small problem being that the rooms on the ground floor can hear noises (like moving chairs etc) from the rooms in the upper floor. Breakfast buffet (included) is excellent, service fast and efficient; hotel management very helpful. Internet in all rooms. German spoken, like everywhere...
