We stayed in the top room for 10 days and had an amazing time! The house is very impressive and beautiful and brilliantly located in the old town. The owners are very kind and helpful with everything: tips about the best restaurants, places to visit in the area and we borrowed some stuff for the beach. The top room had...

Excellent accommodation as described by others. We had the top room with spectacular views. Clean, comfortable, and very quiet. Excellent restaurants near by. Nigel and Netty are usually available to offer as much or as little help and advice that you may need. Parking is difficult so stay out of the village centre, however, parking is free as long as...

We stayed in the nice top-floor room with our son for 3 nights. Beautiful room with an amazing terrace view on the old city and the surrounding landscape. The owners were very helpful with advice and indications for local sights and food. They even helped us to look for a next place since we wanted to stay longer and they...

We stayed at the top room in Escondido for a long weekend in Vejer. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, giving us great advice on where to eat and what to visit. The room is beautiful and comfortable, with a private terrace to enjoy the morning sun or an afternoon drink. The location is also great. It takes a...

We had not planned to stay in Vejer when we began looking - but we are so glad that we did. The town is a delightful jumble of narrow streets, bits of castle, old white houses, with a very pretty square, many places to eat and drink and, last but not least, stunning views. Escondrijo (the top room) was a...

We stayed here with high aspirations and those were exceeded. Our top floor room was one we did nit want to leave. The location in Vejer was perfect, close enough to everything and quiet with stunning views from our balcony deck. Vejer may have been our favorite city in Spain and one we will return to. Escondrijo was perfect in...

Our family of four (including 9 & 12 year old boys) stayed at Escondrijo for five nights in the middle of a two-week tour of Anadlucia. It was the most relaxing part of our trip, a nice break from hopping between Malaga, Granada, Ronda, Sevilla, etc. The house is lovely, and despite the lack of A/C it was very comfortable...

Vejer de la Frontera is one of the Pueblos Blancos of Andalusia and is a hill top town. Escondrijo is tucked away down one of the winding streets near to the town square. We stayed in the top apartment which has a bedroom, bathroom, small kitchen and living area and a private terrace with really wonderful views of the surrounding...

My wife and I were due to stay at Escondrijo for the first weekend in November, travelling from our holiday home in Estepona. The weather forecast was so bad that the owners contacted us and said that although we would be very welcome, the weather may spoil our trip and they would be happy to return our deposit if we...

Our third trip here in the last 6 years, and it is still a wonderful relaxing place. Netty and Nigel are wonderful hosts, and the private terrace on the Wodburner room is to die for. I will be back. Again!
