We stayed here with a group of eleven people and had an excellent time. The surfing instructors are very good in terms of teaching as well as motivating. The surfing equipment is available for use all day long and the food is absolutely outstanding. The camp has a couple of own cooks and they prepare very healthy and tasteful meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). The apartments we stayed at were very clean and large enough for up to four people. Looking forward to coming back!
First of all, you should be German, from a German-speaking country or simply understand German language in order to enjoy the place to the whole extend. The team speaks perfect English, but most guests prefer German, so without this language you might end up sitting alone. The camp operates from September to May and closes for the hottest summer season when small village El Palmar becomes a huge attraction for Sevilla residents. The best thing about the place is its family atmosphere, even complete strangers become friends after a week of chatting in the living room, wave-watching on the terrace and preparing the dining room for meals. The breakfasts and dinners, thanks to chief cook creativity, are particularly good. The surfing lessons start right at the camp's door, only few steps away from sandy beach. The village itself is quiet on weekdays and full with city folks and music on the weekends. Local restaurants are worth visiting, especially fish ones. The only real El Palmar attraction is a long sandy beach which is perfect for walks (including 30-40 min walk to Conil, a neighbor town). Don't miss Vejer, an old town on the hill, 15 min of car drive away from El Palmar. Also, visit Cadiz, the oldest town in the South of Spain (30 min away).…
