Nice quality spring bed neatly made. Hot water is very suiting for Ruteng's cold weather. The price was affordable. Facilities are good, service was a little below standard, but not that it was inconvenient, it was just awkward. Staffs weren't wearing uniforms, therefore we cannot differ which are staffs and which are guests. Some doesn't seem responsive, sitting lazily behind...

This hotel appears to be unloved. Not a small establishment, we had a deluxe room. All I can say is that I'm glad we had top end and not a standard room. I can live with the noise you would expect in a town of this size, and I can live with basic accommodation, but it was like no one...

This wasn't the worst place we stayed in Flores, but the hotel isn't very clean and doesn't feel secure at all, a cockerel behind the hotel (and food poisoning) kept us up pretty much all night, take earplugs and a cloth if you want to stay here! No wifi. No drinkable water from the hotel. Didn't eat breakfast so can't...

We took a room here after getting turned away at the Susteran when we turned up without a reservation there and it was sold out. If only we had booked there in advance as it looked lovely and clean! Big mistake! We also looked at another hotel, but it was way out of town, so we decided to stay at...

We stayed in a VIP room and on that basis I wouldn't want to see the other rooms. The bathroom was filthy with no hot water. The bedroom was also dirty with ominous splodges on the walls and plenty of ants. We were so keen to leave that we didn't hang around for breakfast.

The VIP rooms are ok. Very comfortable beds with clean white sheets. Bathroom may be cleaner, but there is hot water. The rooms and the whole hotel can use a repaint. The biggest plus is that it is opposite restaurant Agape, the only descent restaurant in town. Breakfast is very basic.

We only stayed at the Dahlia for 1 night and, judging by the photos, stayed in the same VIP room. It was a Saturday night and very noisy outside and, as there's no need for A/C, nothing to block it out. The room was not clean (eg blood on the wall where I think someone had killed a mosquito some...

“If I was in the same situation again, I probably would've taken the cheaper room as we didn't use the hot shower anyway. But, you can avoid altogether with a little planning and stay at the Susteran instead.”
