The website gave the possibility to reserve a studio for two with twin beds and wifi. Unmentioned was that studios are 500-700 m. away from the main building, no wifi available unless in the hotel lobby, twin beds 70cm wide. Quite uncomfortable

The hotel is walking distance (less than 5 minutes) from both the town center, and the Lapland Safaris departure. The skiing slopes are not far away, but not as close. The rooms are nice and spacious, with your personal sauna, and they have very good heating. The restaurant offers a nice breakfast and dinner buffet. The bar is very small. Overall there is nice and cosy atmosphere in the hotel.

We arrived when it was -33!! And was told Completely wrong number of our room and took us 40 minutes to find it. I feel when it this cold the hotel should be taking our baggage and us to our rooms! ( so it it’s not a stressful time) As you can see from previous reviews your handling of check in is poor! ( they did sort this out for us and upgraded us to half board for a day! But please take these reviews and work on it ) Rest off the hotel Basic rooms Basic beds Basic facilities But what else do you need when your staying here you spend 90% of your time out enjoying local things like the slopes excursions and Great food!

We visited this hotel in December on our last visit to Levi and it didn't disappoint. The rooms are a short walk from the main hotel but don't be put off by this, as they are so central to every thing else. Close to the supermarket and close to Levi centre for all the sledging fun! The food in the hotel was outstanding! Plenty of choice and so tasty! The staff are are unbelievably friendly but that just goes for the beautiful Finnish people in general. I love this country! Rooms are smallish but we didn't come to Lapland to spend time in the room so they were just the job for us. Levi is wonderful as ever, and we can't wait to come back in December to spend new year! Lapland safaris are excellent too so helpful in every way!

We thought it was a bit odd that when we got off our coach at the hotel that our keys / envelopes were handed to us outside the reception - we didn’t even go in! We heard from the others talking that our room was quite a way away so had to wait for a guy to show us the way. Bearing in mind it’s -11, me hubby, my 11 year old, my 5 year old, 2 bags (like bin bags) full of thermals and boots and 2 suitcases to carry in the snow. It was a 5 minute walk to our room. We dumped our bags and headed straight out. The location was perfect, another 5-10 minute walk to shops, restaurants, markets subway and Burger King, and whilst en route we checked the restaurant door of our hotel to check when dinner was served as we had upgraded to half board - it stated 5-9. We went to the welcome meet where we were told about excursions and gala dinner and nothing else really. We headed back to the restaurant for 7.30 to be told that we had missed the TUI buffet as that finished at 7 and that this was the a la carte buffet . We thought this was odd and as the kids were hungry we did pinch plates of chips and after advising the staff that this was unusual he said he would cook the kids some nuggets. 30 minutes or so later my daughter saw nuggets on the buffet so we waited a little longer but then I asked the same waiter if I was ok to get nuggets from the buffet and he said no as ours were coming to our table. Another 30 minutes went by and we gave in and I fetched nuggets for them. We ate them Walked off and still saw no sign of anything coming over to us. The following day we went to the Santa village which is super magical but I think the present from Santa could be better. Everyone had told me on previous Lapland visits how the presents were wooden handmade types But we got 3 soft things to hang from our tree with Tui on them. Both for my 11 and 5 year old. Not treasured memories at all. I was then poorly that afternoon so left my hubby and children to have the gala dinner. As I was being sick in my apartment my hubby told me that my 5 year old had been sick in the restaurant and all over the table. He took my son to the toilet to clean him up and a nearby family and an Elf looked after my 11 year old. As my hubby left he informed a Tui member what had happened but unfortunately we didn’t hear anything from them for the rest of our holiday which we thought might have been part of their customer service. I also thought it was odd that we had to return our thermals and boots back by 8pm the night before we left - had the whole family not been poorly with a sickness bug we probably would have been out in the snow for quite some time. My hubby therefore had to drag the bags back to reception whilst feeling unwell. We also heard on the bus and plane back that a few families had been struck down with sickness. The journey from the airport was about 15 minutes and the warehouse to collect thermals was super fast. Wasn’t super impressed with the food at breakfast and didn’t really See much of the dinner buffet So wouldn’t comment. I hate to be a moaner but when looking forward to such a memorable Holiday and at such a price you want everything to be perfect. The artic circle certificates were fab on the way home but wasn’t super impressed with the flight out as my friends had travelled previously and theirs looked very exciting !
