Detailed Reviews
We loved our stay at Levi Spirit. We stayed as a family of 5, including our 6 year old and my parents, we all had an amazing time. The villa had everything you need; it was spacious, luxurious and cosy. Eleri met us at the airport and was always on hand to help and assist, we really felt she went the extra mile for us. We decided to self cater our stay so submitted a shopping list before our arrival and it was there when we arrived. We had a chef for one evening meal which was such a treat and delicious. The location was perfect; it is rural and feels in the middle of nowhere, yet is only a 15 minute drive from the airport. Our excursions were great; husky sledging, reindeer sledging, snowmobiling and Father Christmas. We paid extra for a private visit to his village and it was well worth it for the time we were able to have.

The location, common spaces and size of the villas were great. It’s a five minute drive to the south point ski lifts but a very tranquil setting. My children loved the cinema room downstairs and the sauna was spacious (if a bit draughty).
Given the high prices being charged, it’s a shame they have compromised on size and quality of the bedrooms which are tiny as noted elsewhere. I would personally have taken better bedrooms over having the outside fire pit room
above the garage. It also felt a bit as though jazzy lighting was prioritised over quality fittings (eg in the kitchen).
There are some small differences in the villa features so worth checking that when booking.

The Levi Spirit Villas provide fantastic accommodation for a group. The living area, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, balcony, kitchen, utility etc are all fantastic and there is nothing to criticise, however, the bedrooms and ensuites are small and the lighting is terrible. I understand that you spend a limited amount of time in your bedroom but the size has been compromised too much.

We recently returned from a 4 night stay, what an incredible place!
The setting is picture postcard, the service and attentiveness was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble.
You have your own personal host (we had Gabriel) who is only ever a call away and could organise anything needed even at short notice.
The villa itself was perfect, attention to detail was amazing, this really was a luxurious place, not cheap but considering what you get it is good value for money.
All our trips were booked in advance through Levi Spirt, again everything was perfect.
I really can’t rate this place highly enough, perfect!

We had the most amazing time at Levi Spirit! The magic of Lapland’s nature combined with the house and service makes for a perfect holiday. Our host Lagle was great; friendly, a can do mentality and flexible. She made our holiday even more special. The houses are in the middle of nature, spacious and have everything you could wish for and more. There are so many things you can do and we loved it all; reindeer sledding, dog sledding, ice fishing, Arctic sauna, snow shoeing, snow mobile tour and of course aurora hunting. And have you ever hugged a husky puppy? Pure happiness.

We were a family of 4 visiting Lapland. 2 kids age 6 and 4 - we wanted a once in a lifetime experience and we were not disappointed. Yes these chalets are very expensive, but we knew that when we booked. We do wish we had come with another family so we could have shared the enjoyment. However, we loved every minute.
We have high standards and these Chalets certainly met them. Ours had B+O everything. Don't forget to billing some CD's though - we didn't have any and so could not make use of the amazing stereo set ups.The atrium ceilings, open plan living, spa, fire room etc are amazing. You will struggle to find better chalets.
These Chalets have a great social set up and would be awesome for groups. The spa and sauna part is great and the fire room for roasting marshmallows and sausages also fantastic. A family of 4 can fit in the jacuzzi bath easily.
Try to have the food that requires cooking in home as we found this to be the best and the waitress / hostess are also very nice.
The activities were all very good - we did a husky safari, a reindeer safari, ice fishing, skidoo trip, father Christmas village day and skiing. Ice fishing is an interesting concept but kids get cold and you need to be a hardcore fisherman to appreciate it.
We were there for 3 nights 4 days and wish we had longer as would have done more skiing, ice rallying and visited the ice hotel.
This place is on a par with some of the world's best exclusive experiences such as Fregate Island in the Seychelles

Levi Spirit is a collection of beautiful holiday houses located about 15 minutes' drive from Kittila Airport. I found this while searching the internet for luxury accommodation in Lapland.
Our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers) went on our first and definitely not the last family holiday in Lapland this December. We rented a Ford Focus station wagon from Avis at Kittila Airport. When we arrived at the Avis counter late in the evening, we were pleased to find that the car was all prepared with the engine running, ready for us to load up and drive. I was also relieved to find that all 5 of our medium sized suitcases fit comfortably in the car boot. With a GPS, it was an easy drive to Levi Spirit. (This was despite the fact that we come from the tropics and we drive on the other side of the road.)
The house was as beautiful as it looked in the photographs on the Levi Spirit website. The estate manager met us at our house and did a quick tour of the house, before leaving us to settle in. Other than the beds (2 small single beds in each bedroom) and the bedrooms being rather small, everything was perfect. All of the common areas were spacious, well-maintained and luxurious. We spent the duration of our stay really enjoying all of the facilities: the heated outdoor jacuzzi, indoor jacuzzi, sauna (we even tried rolling in the snow outside in between sessions in the sauna - our kids loved it and did it every night), the outdoor Kami lodge (we bought sausages from the local supermarket and grilled them in the fire place in the Kami lodge). I am glad we did not pack our days with too many activities because this meant we had more time to relax in and enjoy the beautiful house. The kitchen was very well equipped and included a coffee machine with a variety of coffee capsules as well as a separate filtered coffee maker. All of the appliances were high-end products and easy to use. I also really enjoyed waking up each morning and coming out to the living room to get a fire going in the beautiful fireplace. Hearing the crackle of the burning wood from the fireplace while sipping my morning coffee and enjoying the view of the snow covered land outside the windows was just magical.
The area outside is dotted with pine trees covered in fresh snow and we had a fun time making a snow man one evening. The Levi Spirit houses are far apart enough so each house has sufficient privacy.
The Levi village centre is an easy 10 minute drive away. There is a well-stocked supermarket which has everything and we went there everyday to pick up supplies for our meals which we had mostly in our house.
We had a particularly good time on one of the days when we went snow shoeing and ice fishing with Mika and Laura from Lapin Luontoelamys. Mika and Laura were so friendly and knowledgeable about Finland and fishing and also very good with our kids. After the ice-fishing (which was a truly unforgettable experience and great family activity), we went indoors to a very rustic hut where Laura cooked us the best pancakes and coffee ever, over a woodfire. We also enjoyed our fish, also grilled over the fire. This was one of the most memorable moments of our trip.
This was an unforgettable holiday, made even more special by the beautiful accommodation at Levi Spirit.

This has to be the pinnacle in accommodation in the wonderland known as Levi. Thomas looked after our amazing time we spent in Levi and looked after our every need from helping us with ski hire and lessons and driving us home after we over run and our transfer left. The facilities are fantastic with huge rooms decorated to high standards. The catering was excellent and Maria looked after us really well. The sauna and hot tub were fantastic. The log fires were awesome. We had awesome fun playing with all the sledge equipment. To be honest this was very close to perfection and I would highly recommend. We booked through Magic of Lapland who I can also highly recommend

What a great villa for our family stay.
Enjoyed the Xmas tree and decorations upon arrival and really enjoyed the indoor sauna and outdoor jacuzzi.
Cooking sausages on the open fire pit was really good fun and being able to have log fires upstairs and downstairs was great.
The sound system can be enjoyed in the indoor and outdoor zones of the house and the drying room for the ski clothes was good.
We had a good walk down to the river where we made a fire in a traditional lap hut.
Reindeers came past on most days and we liked the location of villa 5.
Overall a great family stay and a brilliant week in Levi enjoying all the activities.

Our trip has been organized through a travel agency in Paris who recommended the Levi Spirit to us. We were 10 people: Grand parents and 2 couples with 4 children (two 9 years old and two teens). Our stay was from Dec. 28 to Jan. 2.
First advise: make sure your flight arrives at Kittila airport, it is only a 15mn drive to the chalet (one other couple did not have seats available to Kittila and had to fly to Romanievi and had to drive 2 hours to arrive Levi!
The chalet was beautiful, very spacious, approx 450 sq. m. with 2 large salons, sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, beautiful open kitchen with dining room. All hi-tech electronic equipments: B&O hi-fi and TV, playstation (but no games available). There are 4 rooms with toilette and showers plus an open loft upstairs with toilette and shower. We all found that the rooms and the beds are very small compared to the proportions of the chalet.
Meals:
They provide outside catering service for breakfast and dinner. There was a chef that came and cooked for us on the first night and the dinner was delicious! However, all the other dinners were delivered and were less good (we then realized that our agency booked delivery service and only the first night was special because it was a meal that couldn't be prepared in advance). So I would definitely recommend for the chef service service which of course is more expensive.
Our New Years Dinner was a huge disappointment because the catering service had a mix up and sent us a meal with food that we already had the days before and there was supposed to be king crabs in our meal but we had only a bowl of crab soup enough for 4 people! We felt we were eating leftovers. To apologize, they gave us 2 bottles of champagne which we returned to them.
On one of the mornings the breakfast was delivered half an hour late because the delivery boy over slept and another dinner one hour late because there was a mix up.
The resort manager has been helpful though, to organize extra activities and the coordination for the services.
We still enjoyed our stay at Levi Spirit but as the resort manager explained to us, they are overwhelmed this year by the success of booking and were extremely busy so I think they are simply not prepared to accommodate the growing business and even though the people are nice, they were not very well organized. We also had problems with car pick up that were late...
Activities:
We did snow mobile, reindeer sled, dog sled and snow walk. All the activities were organized for the mornings and we enjoyed very much. In the afternoons we went skiing, ice karting (the teens loved it), bowling and some more snow mobile (longer circuit and in the dark).
