I have stayed here several times ..always in Octoberand the pumpkins round the porch never cease to gladden my heart at the end of a days drive. Wonderful welcome...a shower...a view over the tiny harbour... There is not a lot to do this far north so be prepared to relax and take advantage of lovely surroundings. Head up to the... More

Wonderful innkeepers with a lot of helpful advice. The room was very comfortable, and we were made to feel welcome upon our arrival. A delicious breakfast was served and beautifully presented. The water views can not be beat and it is even close to to a lighthouse museum.

My wife and I had the good fortune to stay with Ann and Brian on a recent trip. Ann and Brian invited us into their house like we were family! The room (Captain's Cabin) was clean and comfortable. There was a separate washroom for our use as well! Breakfast was fantastic. Ann's oatcakes are to die for. We had such... More

My son and I happened upon the Inlet B&B on the internet, and were absolutely thrilled with our stay there. Ann and Brian are warm and gracious hosts, and we had the most wonderful time. They also recommended we visit nearby Meat Cove and go whale watching from Bay St. Laurent - two highlights of our trip. The room and... More

We stayed in mid-September in Merne Ann and Brian's B & B. Not only did our hosts provide a warm welcome, incredible breakfasts (Merne Ann's oat cakes are to die for), comfortable rooms, luxurious towels, and an excellent base for visiting Cape Breton, they also laid on superb weather. Well, they claim not to have been responsible for that. The... More

We stayed in the double ensuite room and were very comfortable. Our hosts had thought of everything. The price of the room was extremely reasonable. We were only one night - but another time, I would try to stay in the area for 2, this being the mid-way point of the Cabot Trail. If staying more than one night, I... More

We had the suite and it was very nicely laid out with picturesque view of the inlet. Breakfast was very good too and the Hosts took time to give us several out of the way recommendations on where to stop on the rest of our Cabot Trail adventure.

This B&B is the perfect spot for a relaxing stay after a very active day in Cape Breton. The room was small but bright and perfectly clean, plus is next to a deck that faces directly to the tiny Dingwall Bay. Every thing in this quiet place invites you to sit back and relax. Ann and Brian are the best... More

The first time I stayed at The Inlet was with my sister in the middle of winter. We got snowed in and couldn't get to our flight, so Ann and Brian put us up for the extra night, absolutely free. They also cooked us dinner every night we were there. For free. Yummy food, gigantic breakfasts, cosy, cosy Porthole room.... More
