Amazing food experience in a quiet country side village. We stayed several days and enjoyed the large size rooms, and the friendly atmosphere. Great rest, simple morning breakfast, nice outside pool, tennis but the place really reveals itself around dinner time. The outside terrasse at the back of the house has few tables - booking is a must. Food and... More

Vincent is a great cook. His concept is just to surprise you with a very creative menu. Every day different and with delicate presentation. The wine choices are very impressive, but I recommend to also take some advise while you don't know what is coming. If you are nearby - just go and threat yourself.

We paid 115 euros for a large but very poorly furnished room full of eccentric possessions. It wouldn't have mattered much had the dinner been up to the standard we had expected for a Michelin-starred restaurant but this proved a great disappointment. There was no choice (a "surprise" menu) so we had to take two small fish courses of little... More

Our friends who have a second home locally booked this treat. The menu is determined by what is available - with some flexibility for vegetarians. The choices were lovely - a ratatouille with banana, foie gras grilled to perfection and a generous helping of lobster given the prices. Vegetables from the garden - which we overlooked. Not surprising they were... More

We stayed two nights in this hotel restaurant. It is PARADISE. We will always stay here when we are in the region. It isn't often that a feel good experience lasts after moving on to new places, but this is how we are with this hotel.

Where do I find the words to discribe this culinairy miracle? All was perfect. Vincent and Anne made us feel at home straight away. We decided to stay overnight which felt perfect after enjoying a marvelous diner. Vincent surprised us over and over again with his adventurous and creative combinations. Anne made sure nothing was missing at our table and... More

I took my group of ten to this incredible restaurant for lunch in October, and we were blown away by the precision of Vincent Lucas's cooking. His ability to combine ingredients and create perfectly balanced, beautifully presented dishes was extraordinary. For Australians, it was surreal to be served a generous slab of home-made foie gras terrine for entree - and... More
