This was recommended to us from our friends who grew up from this village... It was such a unique hotel and felt like a step back in time. The room was elegant and very spacious....great for couples. Breakfast was also great. It had everything you would want. Such a great stay in an amazing traditional village on the outskirts of...

Ochsen Post is a family-owned hotel near Stuttgart. I spent one night there on a business trip. It is definitely a charming place. The hotel is made of 2 sections, the traditional one and the modern one which offers a sharp contrast with the traditional section. My room was in the modern section on the first floor. It was well...

As Pforzheim town was fully booked end of May I selected Ochsen Post Tiefenbronn for 1 overnight stay and didn't regret that decision. It's a charming place with old architecture and since over 20 generations within same family. Staying on the 2nd floor costed me some effort as I had to hand carry my heavy luggage. The decor in the...

It is by far the best cuisine in the Pforzheim area with fresh regional products and some of the best wines of SW Germany (try the "beef tea", the fish dishes and the wines of Huber and Bercher). The restaurant "Bauernstuben" is set up in a...

After a 7 hour drive and lots of traffic on the Autobann we found this small town. Not too much choice as to Hotels but we choose this one as the terrace looked so inviting. Rooms were dark, lots of dark wood everywhere, which can be a bit off putting. However the welcome was friendly. Room 12 was on 2nd...

The hotel facilities are mimimal but clean and well furnished with traditional furniture. There is no A/C & the bedrooms can be quite hot in the summer. The staff are very friendly & helpfull, & there is free Wifi. Breakfast...

Old world small hotel in centre of Tiefenbronn, a quiet village. This is primarily a restaurant so hotel facilities are minimal. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room clean and well furnished, with traditional furniture. Restaurant very good, serving traditional German and Swabian food.
