The hotel is dated; that said, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Noise travels quite freely through the facility. They offer 15% off breakfast. We had one of the worst, if not the worst, meals we have ever had. Run away, run away!
Inn is very dated and worn. The attached Brewhaus is only open during ski season so they give you a $10 gift card to a place in the resort village which is a .25 mile walk. The inn has no pool or hot tub. The rooms are small with minimal amenities. We could’ve stayed at a “real” hotel in the village for less. I would highly recommend avoiding this inn … no charm, not exceptionally clean and absolutely nothing to do during a “shoulder” season. No mini-frig either so can’t stick the room with goodies. It is just a worn, dark, gloomy play that needs a MAJOR renovation and is charging way too much for what is offered.
Stayed beginning march....excellent location. Room was very nice and clean, with extra towels due to no housekeeping during stay. No elevator (which was OK) but having ski lockers down the hall was a definite plus. Lockers lead right out to lift or ski down to next lift. Restaurant onsite was big plus, for both dinner and breakfast. Only minor issue was room was extraordinarily warm....thermostat set on 68 and registered 78. Definitely recommend.
April, Marisa and Amy were all so great. From the moment I called to book they were all more than helpful. Even helped have a cake delivered for my husbands birthday. They were all so accomodating and sweet during our trip. We will definitely be back!
The property is nice, we like the location. The restaurant and bar are great, and the staff is super friendly. It is convenient to the area including entertainment, skiing and outdoor enjoyment. Regarding our stay, the walls are too thin, heard EVERYthing next door all night long. We had an adjoining room, not sure if that was the cause for the transfer of noise to our room or just the walls being thin.
Room was extremely hot.. no heat on and thermostat said 78°. Had to turn on the AC in October when it was cold out. Hallways smelled. Friendly staff though. Simple continental breakfast in the morning.
I understand that it’s an old style hotel, but walking through the door in the lobby, it is evident that the place needs a major clean up. The outside of the building is tired and needs a serious paint job! We weren’t even sure that we were at the main entrance, but we were. The lobby and hallways were drab and energy sucking. A little paint and new carpeting would go a long way. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We loved our stay here in early September. Ryan and Patrice were very helpful and friendly, and the view of the mountain can't be beat. Amazing mattresses on both beds in our loft room. The only reason I can't give it five stars is that the owner(s?) need to invest in the property. At this price point, there shouldn't be old/breaking brown tile in the bathroom, wobbly furniture over the toilet and a TV with no sound. These were minor inconveniences, as we mostly wanted to be out and about, and the courteous service really makes for a pleasant stay. The onsite restaurant/bar was great.
The staff was friendly. But no one seemed to know where the trail up the mountains started. Over all it was a quiet time of the year, both warm and cold at night. AC helped with the noise level coming form the Brew Pub.
The room was clean but somewhat dated and the air conditioning was not sufficient to reach the loft space on a hot day. We were given a room different than the one we had booked (3 beds) when we checked in but this was resolved and we were given the correct room.
