it was a horrible experienced weve had in this inn just 2 weeks ago. I dont really mind at first when the power shut down, due to some reasons, the room that was meant for us, is just a few steps up from their house kitchen, we cant sleep not just because it is too hot, but because the owner itself is so noisy, he does not care at all that his guest are already sleeping, they keep on yelling over the phone while talking to the staff at the electric company, and saying nasty things, like f***ing Philippines, stu**d people. He doesnt mind, that his guest are all filipino. Weve stayed there just for almost 3 hours in total and i decided that very night to look for another accomodation, its kinda risky, because almost all inns and hotels are fully booked, luckily i found one, the hotel room smells so nice, it is almost of the same price, but everything is new, weve slept comfortably.

I am not racist AT ALL. if i was i would not be here. yes i remember you, and i am sorry for my Italian temper. yes i was upset over the fact that yet AGAIN the power co. failed to keep power on as per our contract with them. over the past 6 months this has become an almost daily occurrence. we have had to refund guest room payments or give discounts, i have lost my job online due to power keep going out, once i had to pay the local power co. p3000. out of my pocket to fix an exploded transformer to get power back on.. they wait to do it the following day. so yes i was getting at my witts end. and yes, i am sorry to say Filipino do run the power co. so my frustration came out that way. no other place or country i lived in has this happen so often. we will be installing solar lights soon. if you were unhappy you should have said something. again sorry for my frustration.

The place will take you to a place where you can breath fresh air, meet nice people and new friends, awesome owners ate Alma and Nick with their helpful kids. Noah the flat nose so cute and Ernie who can speak Ilocano like I do. Food is amazingly tasty. You will never feel like you are away from home as they will accommodate you as part of the family. Hector my dog enjoyed the place much. I had a good 10 hrs of sleep after the whole day of driving and trip around Bolinao. I am recommending this place to people who appreciates nature and are sociable. I will definitely come back! See you Kim (Taguig City)

first of all, the owners - Nick and Alma, are very wonderful hosts.i like the kubo rooms, and u can really feel the fresh clean air in this place, as they are in the middle of greenfields. Nick is a very generous guy.very sweet dad to his kids and is so much hands on...he does the tours, drives either van or tricycle, and shows you around the beautiful spots in Pangasinan. I left this guesthouse as a customer who soon became a friend of them.

For those interested in staying, please be reminded that this is a BnB, not a resort. You can't expect 5-star amenities, but you can expect 5-star service. The owners, Nick and Alma, are amiable and will go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and fun as they possibly could. Nick also helped us book our tour of Alamino's Hundred Islands spot. He even personally drove us there and referred us to his friend who coordinates trips. THIS IS FOR YOU IF: * You love backpacking. That is, living it rough and simple. This is not a five-star hotel. * You enjoy interacting with people. As this is a family-owned and operated resort, their children are part of the package. The kids help with almost everything. Their sons, Noah and Ernie, kept our group entertained (ages four and nine respectively). Other guests are also chatty, probably because of the guesthouse's cool and laidback vibe. * You love home cooked meals. Portions are enormous; the price is affordable. Ms. Alma (the owner's wife) prepares the meals with love - you can taste it in every single bite. MUST BRING: * Your toiletries (tissue, towels, soap, shampoo, etc.) * Insect repellent. It's a garden campground, so you know what to expect. * Your preferred medication if you have allergies to pollen and dust. When I booked the place, I was expecting to stay in a so-so BnB. While saying goodbye to Nick at the harbor, I realized that I felt like I was leaving our relatives who graciously accommodated us into their home. This property is not rooms for rent - it is a home open to wanderers of all shapes and sizes.
