My partner and I stayed with our small dog there for two beautiful nights. It's such a shame we couldn't stay longer. We came there after we spent two really hot days in Florence. We planned to rest and enjoy on our way home. It was the best decision ever. Wonderful hamlet carefully restored with impeccable service. Distance from Florence...

Please take care and think carefully before booking here. Perhaps my wife and I did not do enough research or read enough Tripadvisor reviews. This is a difficult place to describe. It is sort of remote and has a countryside feeling to the location (despite not really being very far from Florence) but it is close to the motorway. The...

We held our wedding at Borgo I Vicelli in May of this year, having all of our guests stay with us. Mathilde, Illaria and Giulia could not have made our stay more special; nothing was ever too much trouble and they made everyone feel at home from the word go. Giulia is the hardest working woman I have ever met!...

The grounds are truly spectacular with wildlife, beautiful views and ancient buildings beautifully restored. What we wish we had known was that it is isolated and it is not really a hotel. You can get to Florence in about 20 minutes, but for foreigners, the drive may be a bit stressful. It is more of a B&B with beautiful grounds...

We had a family holiday for 29 people (4 generations) and booked the entire place for 2 weeks. We all had an absolute ball and we would go back in a heartbeat.
