We ended up at this hotel due to a flat tyre happening at midnight. We checked in at 3:00am and even though the reception was closed , there was a man from security there which checked us in (it was his first time doing this) and he did an excellent job. Our room was decent in size , very clean... More

Typical hotel where you can just stay overnight, after a very long trip in buses through the difficult and winding roads of Norway. Wherever you go and move around the hotel, you will find hundreds of mass tourism travelles, most part from Asia. Rooms are very old, furniture absolutely outdated, spartan beds like two centuties ago. Internet is another huge... More

This hotel is situated high up in the mountains with beautiful surroundings. The buffet meals are plentiful with many varieties of dishes. No problem getting enough to eat and the delicious desserts and the chocolate cake unforgetable. The rooms have comfortable beds, but the selection for TV channels was not very good. Could be due to being so high up... More

A pleasant experience driving uphill to reach the resort on top of the mountain. Am sure it will be even better during winter with the snow and all. It is a ski paradise. Free car parking. Lot of hiking options. Lots of activities to remain engaged or stay relaxed. Good food.

Way up in the mountain & it was cold with ice still around! The bathroom was cold especially after a shower. There were sufficient bathroom hanger hooks n it was spacious enough. The plastic cups were easily chipped when tearing off the protective plastic bags. The bed had only 1 pillow :( There was a heater in the room so... More

I've been here 3 times so far in total, but this time I eventually brought my kids. Conclusion: Storefjell is best with kids! No snow in the Oslo region (over New Year's Eve), but plenty of that white powder up here on 1001 m above sea level. A lot of wind up on the mountain plateau meaning difficult tracks, but... More
