We stayed for a week on a jazz course. Comfortable room, lovely swimming pool, but the stand-out for me was the hospitable welcome: they coped with 40 people, all with different catering requirements (veggies, no pork, pescatarians, can't eat tomatoes, etc...) and the quality of the food and its presentation was excellent. Terrific welcome, thank you, Tim, Sasha, and your... More

I stayed here for a week as part of the International Summer Jazz School - stayed in the Monet house - a traditional little French house - could be out of one on Monet's paintings. The property is awesome - beautiful chateau, once a winemaking facility, from the mid 18th C - surrounded by vineyards with the truly gorgeous village... More

Spent a weekend here on a holiday travelling through France- this was by far my favourite place we stayed. The chateau is absolutely breath-taking and I believe most of the rooms have recently been done up (I only saw a few rooms but they all looked lovely) They also have a huge swimming pool which my siblings loved. Am incredibly... More

I have been to 2 weddings at the chateau, one larger and one smaller. The staff were amazing, they catered for our every needs and made sure that everyone was comfortable. There was a good breakfast, food available all afternoon and when we were all running late for the evening meals it wasnt a problem for the kitchen to put... More

A wonderful welcome, friendly staff, delicious mediterranean meals. What a location with such a creative use of the original wine pressing room. Our room was excellent. Our daughter loved the pool and the garden. The Canal du Midi was just down the road and we also went, on recommendation, to Minerve, about 20 minutes away and wondered around this awesome... More

We booked the "hotel" for 4 days. The agenda- wedding ceremony followed by evening of dancing. And traveling in the area at the following days. By the look of the pictures, by reading the agenda, and even by reading some of the reviews, this should have been wedding of fairytales. As in fairytales, where there are princess and kings there... Unfortunately the reviewer is slightly short of the facts. This was a last minute wedding booking that came from Israel and we were really looking forward to getting to know them. It was booked by the Bride’s Mother and all their friends were invited and paid for by the Bride. We did everything possible for them including sourcing a Rabbi,... More

the setting is fabulous, the public areas very pleasant. Food is ok but the wine poor quality for the price asked. Our room was very pleasant with all that you'd expect and on the ground floor just off the courtyard. However the lack of sound insulation and in particular the noisy plumbing were more reminiscnent of a low-cost Spanish hotel.

This was a lovely evening that we hosted for a local choir group of 40+ strong and we had also had the honour of looking after them at Christmas as well. It is always a challenge when you have a set budget to include 3-courses and x2 glasses of wine per person but we did it successfully on both occasions.... More

I visited with a party of around 40 for an evening meal. The food was very good and there was an interesting choice of salads, vegetarian food and barbecues meats. However, before I could return for seconds,as I have done a previous function there, everything was removed so I and others were slightly irritated. The dessert was a square of... More

The staff were very welcoming and helpfull to give information on the country. The room was at the expected comfort and not noisy. We appreciated the quite original setting ot the "chateau" with the old wine house refited in a restaurant. Pool and spa appreciated. Well located for exploring the area quietly.

For a surprise Christmas present for my wife I arranged a New Year’s Eve visit to a hotel that we have stayed at before near the Mediterranean coast, followed by four days skiing in the Pyrenees which are only just a couple of hours drive from the hotel. We arrived tired and a bit jaded from a busy family Christmas... More
