Stayed here for two nights, the room I had on the second floor was excellent and the restaurant food was great. The hotel workers there were cheerful and friendly. This hotel was an excellent decision by Rabbies for our tour group to stay in.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and were very impressed with the welcoming from the staff. The room we had was ok but the bathroom with bath, shower and toilet was very small. The room was overall comfortable. The restaurant was good and when we were there it was very quiet. The food was of good standard. Overall... More

We had booked a table in the bar for 2 at 6:15, we wanted to eat early as we had been out walking all day. We arrived a little early, and were a bit wary as the outside was different to all other hotels and restaurants we had seen, quite modern and attractive, so wernt sure what to expect. Very... More

Spent two night here on a hebrides trip, comfortable modern hotel with an excellent restaurant. Staff are professional and very welcoming. No problems at all. Free parking and good local walks nearby.

Visited only for dinner. Busy spot. Make a reservation. Very good food and service. Not many options on North Uist for dinner but this is a good one. Just off the main road in Lochmaddy leading to and from the ferry. Would recommend.

Hamersay House is a well presented Hotel And restaurant, very clean and tidy. The menu is top notch with a variety of local fish, seafood and meat dishes, and specials with a a very satisfactory wine list. The welcome and service was excellent too.

My wife and I were on an Island hopping trip never having visited the Outer Hebrides before. We arrived on a very rainy day with a stiff breeze blowing, not the best of holiday weather. The greeting we had at reception was warm and a quick conversation about fishing boats was had! Room was warm and comfortable and filled the... More

Just went for dinner. The dining room was stuffy, noisy and crowded but food v good - wine not so good and with quite a limited selection. Greeting rather acerbic as we turned up 10 mins early! but eventually service was attentive.

Had 1 night's stay here in July. Didn't much enjoy the Uists themselves but had a good experience of this hotel. It's very pleasantly and freshly decorated - feeling modern and fresh yet comfortable. Our room was good - wee bit on the snug side perhaps - but everything we needed. Had a lovely 3 course dinner all - good... More
