Stayed at Jac's B&B for a week, and he made me feel very welcome. Jac is a friendly and welcoming host. He serves a good continental breakfast, with good coffee. The downstairs room had a great view, it was a pleasure to stay in this room. The bed was very good. There are lots of possiblities to go for a walk along the seaside, or into the surroundings of Baleshare. Jac has a lovely personality and he has a great sense of humor. He is also a talented artist. It was a memorable holiday.

Jac is a welcoming and friendly host who was a pleasure to stay with. The premises are of a high standard and the peace and quiet ensure a good nights rest on a massive bed. Continental breakfast was superb and the views towards the sea are superb. Jac is a very good artist and many examples of his work sre on display around the premises.

Stayed with Jac for four nights while visiting North Uist. Very comfortable room and lovely breakfasts in his company. Made us very welcome and his house is beautifully situated for exploring this beautiful island. Hen Harriers flying over were the "icing on the cake".

Two comfortable and spacy rooms with formidable views on the landscape typical for North-Uist. Good breakfast with bread freshly prepared by the host Jack. Deserted beach closeby. Great hiking and birding opportunities. Not unlikely that the host will sell you one of his paintings inspired by the colours and shapes of the Outer-Hebrides.

Beautiful views from our room and quiet, wonderful beach walks on Baleshare. Jac is a great host, breakfast was our favourite in the hebrides and his art throughout the house is stunning! Would recomend to anyone and we hope to be back soon. Baleshare is a hidden gem - definitely worth going out of your way for!
