A great hotel that made our summer trip through the Outer Hebrides, that bit extra special! Warm and friendly staff who bend over backwards to help. Great sized family room, good breakfasts and fantastic restaurant food. Thanks to all!

The Scottish staff in this hotel are very very pleasant and the young lady who served us was just lovely. She chatted away and showed a genuine interest in customers. We used the hotel for drinks and food on more than one occasion. The potato wedges were fantastic and the hunters chicken was great. The vegetables served with it were... More

Stopped off here for lunch after trying numerous places on south Uist which wouldn't allow the dogs in! We only stayed here for lunch, Very friendly & helpful staff, delicious food & massive portions, we will be back again before the end of our trip! Nice decor and nice relaxed atmosphere.

Walked along road from our B&B for a lovely meal. Macaroni cheeses and chips, chips were amazing, want another portion now. Potato skins for starters really tasty and very good portions. Staff and bar surroundings are lovely. Thank you.

Stopped in for an evening meal - disappointing to say the least. Service was hurried because at 8:00 we were told the kitchen is about to shut. I had hot peppered smoked mackerel - on an island where there are world class smoke houses - I was given two Aldi type vacuum packed variety - that had been heated up... More

We stayed here after a long hard walk and luckily got a last minute room, which was most welcome. The elroom was basic by clean and functional. However what was amazing Was the food cooked by a very good chef called DJ amd the food served really first class. DJ is also a fine host and it was a pleasure... More

Sad to say the worst experience of our Hebridean Odyssey. No exteriors sign to indicate that it was the place we had booked - in fact no indication it was a Hotel. We guessed it might be and called in to what appeared to be the Marie Celeste. After a few minutes walking about and shouting, we finally found someone... More

Review is for the restaurant only - we walked to the hotel from our guest house - the hotel is situated on the main road (not a problem, most of it is single track so very quiet). The bar meals are good, the fish and chips were freshly cooked, there are plenty of places to sit, booths, tables, or in... More

At a better price I would give this 4 stars. Situated to the South and West of the 12 mile long Island, The hotel faces West out to sea with beautiful views. There is ample parking and the area is very quiet indeed with no immediate neighbours. The staff are friendly and polite, The rooms are well appointed and clean.... More

I came for a family meal not long after it had opened for the season, I found it difficult as to what to select of the menu as it all sounded lovely, we were greeted by a bar tender who had very little English, Our meals arrived swiftly and was beautifully presented and tasted delicious, I ordered the BBQ pulled...
