We had such an amazing time here. We felt like part of the family. Great breakfast! The room was spacious and clean and we had our own entrance. We did two trail rides and both were breathtaking and beautiful. Del did an amazing job teaching my fiancée to ride. Martha was so inviting and warm, she made our time at the house enjoyable. We also took a dip in the hot tub and enjoyed the star gazing we can’t find in the city. We will definitely return again to explore more of the area and the great company at the Blue Sage B&B.
My fiancé, and I stayed here for two nights, and had a very pleasant experience. Martha makes one hell of a breakfast reminded me of home. Del, and Mark are fantastic a what they do. I have rode a horse since I was ten years old. Del gave me the basics, and made sure I felt safe before we headed out on the trail. They have simple trails, and more advanced trails. Mark was by far one vigilant person. He rode behind me, and guided me through. He made sure there was no mistakes, and if I was about to make one he was on it like white on rice! I appreciate him very much, and can’t wait to visit and ride again. I would definitely recommend this place. I’m from the south, and I felt a lot of southern hospitality here! Amazing place, and fantastic folks to shoot the breeze with. They made feel like a real cowboy! God bless…
Spent the night on my way from the Grand Canyon South rim to Capitol Reef and decided to stay in Hildale. Room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and attached shared bath. Since no one else was staying in the other room I had the run of the place. Dell and JW and family invited me to watch the game and Martha told me where to get some supper. In the morning, I took a 2hr trail ride with the ZBS riding outfit that Dell runs. A great stay in a sleepy town.
We have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. I saw this one on line and read some of the stories. I called and spoke with Martha, very pleasant and helpful. The room was perfect for what we needed. We didn't get to go horse back riding but will come out later. It isn't far from Zion Park. J.R. was such a nice young man and sat and talked football with us. He is a Patriots fan which helped. We can't wait to go back. Hope to see you again my friend.
We stayed there one night. It is a house and they rent out several of the bedrooms. The house, bedrooms, and bathroom are impeccably clean. Del, the owner, and Martha, the manager, are both very friendly and work hard to make you feel at home and enjoy the stay. The bedrooms do not have TV's. There is a TV in the living room that they let you watch. Breakfast was included and was very good, and was cooked just for us. The bedrooms all have a shared bathroom, no private bathrooms. If you want to stay in someone else's house, rather than in a motel setting, this is clearly the place for you.
