You see a lot of wide reviews for this hotel so it can be off putting, but to be honest we could not fault it. Yes it is old and could do with some updating and renovation, but everything worked, everything was clean and tidy, the pool is nice, the staff are friendly and very helpful, organise trips etc and it has it's own beach side to boot. It does mainly cater for the Eastern European family market as one their travel companies is based there, but don't let that put you off, again all really family groups with children so something different. I should also note it is very quiet and peaceful as well in the night. I can't comment on the food as we just used the base for accomodation but as they cater for families etc it must be more than acceptable, the full board appears to get loads of drinks, ice-cream etc included throughout the day. If I was visiting this area again I would easily stay here. Note: for the wifi, there is wifi in the main reception not in the rooms, so if you need some it can be done from there, but most people have some sort of data these days and the reception and speed is good in the area.

We travelled Corfu starting in Corfu town, north and west where the best sandy beaches are. We thought we’d try the south (Kavos) and found a cheap four night stay here. We were prepared for a budget hotel and read all reviews. The young guy on reception was either rude or had poor English, the check in experience was uncomfortable and unclear, the food offer was not explained properly so we stayed away from on site food. The pool was lovely, shallow to deep end, good size and sun beds always free. The hotel is clearest aimed at non English and we felt a little pushed aside although no one was unpleasant. We lovely the bar area as the tender was friendly and helpful, we played pool, table tennis and had a few drinks although as we didn’t opt for all inclusive paying cash was a little awkward. This is only for family groups; some youngsters looked very disappointed. The grounds were decently kept but a little untidy. The cleaners didn’t know what they were doing, no clean towels, ripped sheets etc but they did at least try and were friendly. Ok…..now the rooms….we have 4 children and so they couldnt accommodate in one room so they split us a good way apart despite us asking in advance to be together. The family room has no working water in the kitchen with no utensils or anything actually, reception guy wouldn’t give us one bowl! Room 512, we walked to the balcony and my children almost fell off as the railing was not bolted to the wall eeeeek. We locked off the balcony! The AC was actually really good as long as you locked off the balcony doors and set it correctly - we worked it out ourselves! The rooms were basic but as others have said, you can’t sleep upstairs due to the heat - AC only helps downstairs. Shower was poor I’m afraid, beds hard, pillows awful. Room 302 was our other - a little better, large bathroom was good but shower was not great sadly. Beds, pillows sheets unpleasant again and blankets smelt of sick, yuck. Fridge was sticky on top and furniture was old and damaged. Weird old fashioned radio front near bed showed the age of this place. In summary, a below average budget accommodation suited for non English family groups over a short stay, oh, and the beach was the worst we’ve seen across the island with dirty pebbles / boulders, it gets a little better as you walk along but not much. The entertainment staff tried but most were either new being trained or not really interested. One lady really tried and was really giving it some but then when off duty walking the grounds…..hmmmm and they seemed to gather together themselves in the evenings.

Not even worth the budget holiday prices. Aircon not included with the room and once paid for does not work. Blows hot air and is unbearable to sleep in the rooms have had to sleep on balcony. So far away from any restaurants/food places. Security incredibly rude shouting at us to turn off a quiet speaker at 10pm but waking us up with Czech entertainment and cutting grass at 9am. Just spend the extra money and stay somewhere else not worth it for a cheap holiday.

Just back from Corfu sea gardens with two teenagers. Hotel is just outside kavos with a 15 minute walk into the town. Along the beach is best. Rooms are dated but as you only sleep and shower there it is ok really. Kavos town is amazing. Brilliant boat trips and excursions. Spiros and the bar staff and receptionists at the hotel are lovely. Can’t be more helpful and friendly. Please note if you are English and have kids this hotel is not for you. The entertainment is in cheq. My kids sat every day waiting to be included in the games. On day 10 they asked could they play and where told it was cheq programme. They where very rude. I complained and was told if we where people we would be asked. I take it they new we weren’t nice people from first day. Was really pleased next day as they did include everyone except us, it was good to see that others where getting a chance anyway. Good enough hotel but would include everyone.

I arrived at the hotel in July for a 2 week stay, the boy and women receptionists were lovely and very helpful and Spiros the barman was kind and welcoming. But the animation were unwelcoming and rude! We are an English family and have met another 3 English groups on this holiday and they have all said the same that they don’t include any English people whatsoever in their games or activities. The two animation girls and their boss were rude when we approached them, they said that it is a Czech programme only and that they only approach nice people? Nice people? It doesn’t take much to ask two children to play a game! I will not be returning as I have payed for entertainment but haven’t got it on this holiday! This is in noway degrading the other hotel staff as Spiros made our holiday fun and the receptionists were so helpful and pleasant. The rooms were very dated and unclean but the pool area was spotless. If you are wanting to stay in a hotel with two very rude girls and their rude manager then this is the one for you!

Stayed here as a group of 5 on a girls holiday in august. Very disappointed by the hotel. As we checked in late at night we were greeted by an angry security man with little English. We did not have any air conditioning the first night as this is an extra which you must purchase. As a result we were eaten alive by mosquitoes as we had to leave the balcony door open to try and cool down. For the rest of the holiday we purchased the air conditioning which wasn’t great and only worked while in the room as well as not reaching the upstairs beds at all so we had to all squash in to beds downstairs. T shower was useless and soaked the whole bathroom floor. Towels weren’t changed regularly. One morning we had breakfast in the hotel as we were going to get the all inclusive package. A word of advice don’t! One of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The surrounding beach was very dirty. The pool was nice and the shop was handy as the hotel is located far outside the main town. At first we walked in the heat which took about 20mins but soon discovered we could get taxis for €10. There was little English spoken in the hotel apart from our neighbours- a family of 4 from England who had several visitors and full blown arguments at all hours of the morning after they returned from their nights out. We complained to reception after the third night but nothing changed. All in all, you could find a much nicer hotel far closer to the main town.

Although it looks nice from the outside, the room are not clean, they don't change the towels or the sheets AT ALL in a week stay and the floors are 'cleaned' extremly poor, especially in the bathroom. The only 2 good things there are the breakfast and the girls at the reception. I don't recommend!!!

Comfortable facilities and great view. Small beach and tranquil sea, perfect for swimming, in spite of the water sports activity near by. Areas of the hotel and the beach do indeed smell funny at times. The options at the buffet were limited, but of good homemade quality. Also as reported before, the hotel is unfortunately invaded by a Czech tour agency so all the activities, food signs, etc are in Czech, which felt a bit strange. The activities looked fun, and the entertainers did try to get my son (11 y.o.) and I involved, but their english wasn't great and they would often forget to translate for us after a while. The hotel offers a good all-inclusive deal, but you can also pay for each meal separately. The pool bar also offers a good variety of meals. Unfortunately very few vegeterian and vegan options. There are also a lot of hotel restaurants around and you can easily walk to the village for even more options (Be aware that there is no sidewalk, so you have to be attentive of the crazy traffic passing by! Another option to go to the village is through the beach, a lovely 10-minute walk, both day and night) A/C for extra charge highly recommended. Rooms were spacious and clean, although they could have been cleaner. The TV was useless and there was no wifi in the room. There's also a small shop in the hotel. Overall it was good value for the money. Nothing fancy, but with all the facilities you might need and close enough to the village.

On the internet it looks great but the hotel is old and with bad maintenance. The rooms are really old and the are not clean. There is a kitchen but without any equipment so you cannot cook. The airco is really bad so you cook in the room! Especially if you sleep upstairs...The swimming pool is Nice and huge. Water not top cold so great for kids! The hotel is on the beach so you can also swim there. The hotel is full of people from Tsjechië including the entertainment. All and all i would not recommend it. If you dit not book all inclusive: for 100 euro for 5 persons you have all inclusive. Good deal even though the food is not great.
