We had two nights in the cabin La Rohanna but would have liked to stay a whole week!! The cabin is so tastefully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with fireplace and a big bathroom with a great shower! We felt at home straightaway. William is a very caring host who prepared wonderful breakfasts for us with... More

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. The bungalows and charming. My boys loved Lucky the dog who became their instant friend. We had a wonderful day horseback riding and walking into town. I recommend Restaurant Savia. Great selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian food . However, what truly made our trip wonderful was the owner of... More

My boyfriend, myself & 2 friends spent the weekend at Mawasi and HIGHLY recommend it. We're already starting to plan another trip. The finca is incredibly beautiful and the buildings / houses are very well done, extremely tasteful and comfortable. The 4 of us (2 couples & 1 dog) stayed in La Rohanna, with 1 couple on the pull out... More

We had a wonderful stay at Mawasi Finca. We stayed in the El Nido cabin, which is beautiful with great views. The bathroom and shower are outside, and as described, the walls are only shoulder height. We did not have the breakfast, but has a community pizza party one night. William did a terrific job making the pizzas in his... More

After several busy days in Bogota, Mawasi Finca was a welcome sight. We stayed in La Rohana and we could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. It is such a unique place, clearly built with passion and love. Views from every angle, extremely cozy and functional. We arrived mid - afternoon and didn't even consider leaving the Finca... More

We loved our stay at Mawasi. William was so kind and helpful. The finca itself is beautiful; an incredible product of his and Bonnie's hard work and passion. We stayed in La Rohana, where attention to detail was everywhere. William made us delicious breakfasts and made sure that we felt at home. We were able to completely relax and enjoy... More

My girlfriend and I are a young couple that traveled in Colombia for a week and a half and stayed in 6 different places. Mawasi Finca was definitely a highlight of our trip. We communicated with Bonnie leading up to our trip and she was extremely helpful in determining how to get there, advice, and responsive over email always. Bonnie... More

We spent a few days at Finca Mawasi right before Christmas. William and Bonnie, the hosts, were traveling but we were well-cared for in spite of their absence. We relaxed in the beautiful gardens, made pizza in the mud pizza oven (AMAZING), went "hunting"for bull frogs with flashlights at night, and fed the chickens in the morning. There were caretakers who came... More

My friend and I stayed in El Nido, the small cabin with an outdoor shower and bathroom. It was perfect: waking up to lie in bed and look straight out at the mountains! The outdoor shower was very private and lots of fun, with lots of hot water, too. I didn't meet Bonnie but she was so very helpful arranging... More

We just returned from a trip to Colombia with our two kids (ages 3 and 5-years) and Mawasi Finca won our hearts. The kids said it was their favorite place from our entire trip. The cabins are gorgeous, the property is so lovely, and William is perhaps the most gracious host you could imagine. His breakfasts are worth every penny,... More
