Only stayed a night but was pleasantly surprised. Got a great price, room was good, balcony, flat screen tv. I did not eat here. It was quiet, near the Ferry area, the Pommern Museum, and a park. Great view of the sunset outside. Staff was ok. Didn't really need much from them for a quick stay.

We stayed a few nights on Åland, having Hotel Cikada as our base. The hotel building seems to be built in several phases. It is located in a nice, quiet area, just next to the Maritime museum. The seaside rooms have a great view, but otherwise they are very average... One problem is the cleanliness - the vacuum cleaners, if... More

It looks like you came to Canary Islands said one person from our group while watching down from the third floor "balcony". You can see ocean, swimming pool (that was warm) and old sailing ship Pommern. The rooms are average but kind staff and surroundings raise the rating from 3 to 4. If you stay here you realy should eat... More

If You need a quite cheap accomodation, this might be the one, Hotel was well situated near by the harbor. Breakfast was modest but ok. Friendly service and effective as well. Moderately priced and worth for the money.

we stayed three night during our cross-åland-trip. at first i have to say that this hotel was the less charming of all of our hotel. the interior is old, the double bed room has two single beds, outside the rooms it smells "funny", the are cigarettes on the ground arround the pool and in front of the window of the... The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was quite good. We were off season and therefore there was limited service. On Sunday afternoon there was nobody in the reception and the entrance was locked and we were not notified about this. But everyone tried their best I guess. Yes I would come again.

This is a great hotel in a very good location. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful and my room was very quiet and clean. I slept like a log. The bar and restaurant are also good. There isn't a gym or a personal trainer or a sous chef - but those are some of the charms of... More

Location: Mariehamn is a really tiny capital, so the location of this hotel is convenient (not far from ferry-port, not far from town centre, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, maritime museum etc) Facilities: breakfast included, sauna, indoor and outdoor (while season) pools, wi-fi (enough to read news or check your facebook site but not enough for watching movies online); Room: spacious enough;... The location of this hotel is great, especially if you are taking or coming by ferry to Mariehamn. The town center is just a short walk away also. The people in the reception were very nice and helpful. The room was very good, but the beds and the bathroom are a bit old. However, everything was in perfect working order,... More

We stayed one night in This "Retro" hotel. The reception person was nice and we even got better room than we had booked. Room was nice and clean of course old, retro, :-) but who cares, ´cause it so clean. On the morning we went to breakfast. That was surprise, no one of the personnel did not say "good morning"....
