#12 of 44 in Sidari
Travelers' Choice
Hotel Mimosa is in the village of Sidari on the northern coast of the Greek island of Corfu. The hotel sits on a promenade in front of the Sidari Beach. This sandy stretch of beach is overlooked by the dramatic cliffs of the Canal d'Amour. You'll be able to relax here with a drink at one of the many beachfront bars or take a cooling dip in the Ionian Sea. There are two outdoor pools at the hotel. If you get thirsty, you'll be able to grab a drink at the pool bar, which serves a variety of drinks, as well as light snacks, throughout the day. If you fancy discovering more eating, drinking and entertainment options, you can take a walk along the promenade or into the centre of Sidari where you'll find plenty of restaurants, bars and cafés.

Nice hotel , modern , lovely comfortable beds, lovely equipped rooms , breakfast lots of choice , staff very friendly and attentive, 2 pools which is a bonus , only downside is across the street is a very noisy karaoke bar which is open past 2 every night , but if you’ve not got room overlooking the front it’s not that bad However , would def return

Clean but basic hotel. Nice room, good bathroom, shower cubicle on the small side but shower very good. Lovely staff, very dedicated. Only had bed and breakfast, but breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you staff at Hotel Mimosa.

First of all this hotel is in an excellent location. Opposite the beach and right on the main strip. The hotel itself is clean, rooms are basic but clean and offer ample storage and excellent air conditioning. The pools are ok and plenty of available sun beds, although because it is opposite the beach we spent most of our time there. The staff are friendly and covid restrictions very well adhered to. Breakfast good and tasty and gloves available at food stations. The main reason I am marking the hotel down is because there is no entertainment or food offering after 3pm every day. Yes you are right on the strip and next to a supermarket but for me I like a hotel that offers some entertainment to its guests. I have no real complaints and enjoyed my time here. You cannot beat the location, it’s just a shame there was nothing on offer in terms of entertainment. I would probably visit again if I got a very good deal but I think there’s a hotel up the road that has entertainment and offers half board for £100 more

We have been fortunate to visit the beautiful village of Sidari in north west of Corfu twice a year for the past 10 years with a break because of Covid19. We stayed in different apartment complexes over the years. Each time we visited we looked with envy at the Hotel Mimosa situated one minutes stroll from the beach, restaurants and entertainment ..... Well this year we stayed in Hotel Mimosa. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. Starting with the staff...Mark, Oliver, Tracy, Anna, Jenny and the other staff whose names I dont know......each and every one of them where without exception friendly, helpfull ,welcoming, engaging, and extremely kind. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms serviced every day. Fresh bed linen and towels every second day. The breakfast area is light and airy. A wonderful selection of food for breakfast. Delicious coffee, cereal. toast, fruit salad, Greek yogurt ,croissants, ham , cheese and a full selection of cooked breakfast. The rooms are large and airy. We had a beach view balcony with a glass front which gives you a panoramic view for people watching. The room has its own safe. Air-con is included in the room rate. Without a shadow of a doubt this is our go to hotel in future when we visit Sidari. It is so good we have booked flights and Hotel Mimosa for next June. That speaks for it self

Me and my partner visited the hotel for a week in September for a second time. We had a lovely break and the staff couldn’t have been any more help! Big thank you to Mark, Oliver, Tracy and Vicky, as well as all the other staff. The hotel room was immaculate, which was cleaned daily with fresh towels. We opted for a sea view room which I fully recommend. Breakfast and food at the hotel was fantastic, with no issues. The location of the hotel is ideal - only a stones throw away from the beach, and the strip which has a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel has 2 pools; both had plenty of sun beds and didn’t require you to put towels on in the mornings to reserve which is always great. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel Mimosa and look forward to returning in the near future!

Perfect location. 2 mins walk from the beach. Right on the main strip. Plenty of great restaurants and shops to choose from. The hotel room was average. Good aircon system. In this heat you need it. shower didn’t work. It had the shower head and the hose. Could only get water from the hose which was located a metre from the ground so hand held shower. 2 pools. Though they never told us this. Found out from another customer. The pool at the back is more secluded and quieter. But unfortunately for us they closed it half way through the week so we didn’t get the full use of it. Games room if you can call it that isn’t up to much. They could do so much better. Lovely library with seating area. But once again they closed this and the games room off so we couldn’t use it. Plenty outdoor seating areas for you to choose from. In the sun it in the shade, Breakfast isn’t the best, burnt sausages every morning. Bacon, fried egg, mushrooms, beans and hash browns. Or a hard croissant that looked like it had been there all week. 2 options of cereal. And a slice of cheese and meat on a plate. Toast. And drinks. Went for breakfast the first few mornings but couldn’t stomach that every morning. Didn’t think much of the pool bar to be honest. Ordered 3 soft drinks. And she poured them from an already opened bottle that restaurants would serve you closed to your table. But didn’t see any reflection in the price, so only used once. The children tried food at the pool but weren’t impressed. All the staff we met were lovely and friendly. Couldn’t fault any of them, cleaner in most days. Towels in room. This hotel has so much potential. They really should make a few changes to improve things. We would go back but purely for the location rather than the hotel itself. Which is a shame as it’s not the way it should be. No luggage room. You just need to leave it in the corridor. Which I didn’t like the idea of. We weren’t being picked up until 18.30 but felt we couldn’t just leave our luggage happily and just go off for the day.

What an amazing holiday, the hotel is situated in a prime spot on the strip, full of bars and restaurants. The breakfast is a traditional English breakfast, with proper English bacon and great start to the day. We didn't like the room we were originally given, we spoke to reception and was given a sea view room, no problem. The staff were amazing, special thank you to Tracy, Jenny and Ann who made our holiday extra special. They were brilliant with helping and printing off documentation for the flight home, with Covid. The hotel had hand sanitizers all over and felt very safe. The bar prices are very similar to the UK, but the can be very reasonable if you don't eat every night on the strip. We ate at " Three little pigs" the food, staff and nightly entertainment were amazing, definitely recommend and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back to Sidari and stay at The Hotel Mimosa again.

The hotel is very well situated for bars and restaurants. The staff are extremely friendly - especially Vicky who was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. And Anna as well. Rooms are clean and comfortable and bedding and towels changed very frequently. It is directly opposite a loud bar, but if you have your door and shutter closed the noise is minimal. English buffet breakfast every day which was very good. Pool snacks were lovely. We would definitely stay again.

I love this hotel. I have stayed here many times and you can’t beat the sea view when you wake up. This hotel is ideally situated right opposite the beach and at the start of the strip. Pools are very clean and well maintained and the rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels daily too. One thing that is unbeatable here is the staff, the management and everybody that works there are so friendly and inviting and nothing is ever too much for any of them, you don’t get that everywhere but you definitely get it here! I have already booked again for next year as you really cannot beat this hotel for value and the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced Thanks Mark, Oliver and your amazing team See you all next year for another great holiday!
