#3 of 90 Specialty lodging in Sidari
Apartments and studios for rent in Sidari"the Wave" are ideal for couples and families who prefer a relaxing holiday in Corfu, the Emerald Greek Island. Our apartment hotel offers pleasant and well organised Corfu holidays with all standard amenities for enjoyable moments on a good value for money offer.A large swimming pool is located next to the bar which offers refreshments all day long and our restaurant features delicious Greek food and European cuisine catered lovingly by "Mama Irene". The hotel restaurant was founded in 1983 and and since then our guests' pleasure is always our main priority.A children's playground to entertain our young friends lies in our big yard and of course there is a spacious parking lot.

Well run family hotel. Friendly service with a nice bar/restaurant with sea views. Rooms clean and well maintained. Hotel is a 15 minute walk to centre of Sidari and a 5 minute walk to first bar/10 minute to a supermarket. The pool area is good. Overall good value for money.

We stayed for two week (end July/beginning Aug) and found the hotel to be great. We stayed in apt 1 which has a double room and en suite with a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Think there was also a sofa bed too if needed. A second bathroom as well. Small kitchen area with seating (microwave and good hob, fridge/freezer, kettle etc...) Aircon in both rooms which worked well and double glazing throughout. Rooms were cleaned and new towels regularly. Being about 10 mins out of Sidari means it is very quiet during the day and night (unlike Sidari, which is louder and has lots of bars/restaurants. The pool is a good size and they have a jacuzzi area too. The sunbeds were the best we've had in a hotel like this - decent padded beds and good cover from stationary parasols. The pool area was also quiet during the day and we always got a spot even when we went down at 11am. The bar serves good drinks and is well attended. The surroundings are lovely too with views out to sea (over a very quiet road out the front) and over the hills/mountains behind. The family that runs the hotel are very friendly (especially the 2 brother Christos and Nikos who we dealt with mostly) and will always try to sort anything you need (they sorted car hire for us, which worked well as it was dropped off at 10am and picked up at 9pm). Places in town get you to pick up yourself at 8am and drop off much earlier. The food at the restaurant is excellent and we ate there several times for breakfast/lunch and dinner. All in all we had a great holiday and agreed that, although we don't normally return to the same place, if we returned to Corfu we would happily come here again. See separate review for Sidari.

Can't fault The Wave, welcoming from the time we arrived to when we left. Great view from the 2 bed apartment. We ate at different places but the Wave food was the best especially the calamari , whitebait and feta in the oven. Will be returning.

Stayed at the Wave in June. This is our third visit to the property in three years and it feels like coming home. I'm not one for returning to the same place time after time, but when a place ticks all the right boxes why push your luck and go somewhere else! The whole family work very hard to mke people enjoy their stay and are constantly improving facilities, We stayed in the same two bed apartment we had last year and it had new furniture new tiling and paint new power points with usb ports. It was almost like a different apartment.....it's great to see that they aren't resting on their laurels. All the good things in other reviews about christos and nikos and mama irene are true the Wave itself is in a lovely quiet spot (in fact it's the last hotel along the beach) but only a ten minute stroll along the beach to the strip If you feel like a rest on that stroll stop for a drink at fever bar,,,,,, a lovely little bar that offers great cocktails and evening entertainment. At the wave itself they offer really excellent home cooked food......and on a Wednesday they have a duo playing...A guy playing keyboard and a girl singer ....listen to the music while enjoying great food. During the day there's no early morning sunbed squad and the sunbeds are great with really thick matresses.sometimes it hard not to fall asleep. I would definitely recommend the Wave, i know we will definitely be returning
