The hotel is good, well laid out, and not too large. The pool is a decent size, with a staffed pool bar and a self service snack bar. We never had to wait for a table in the restaurant, or a sunbed at the pool, so plenty to go around. The sunbeds have a very thick spongy mattress which is the most comfortable I have laid on. The restaurant served pretty much the same food every day, which is to be expected in an all-inclusive place. I have no complaints about the quality, just it could be a little more diverse especially with the dessert. We had a swim up room which was great - no complaints with the room, cleanliness, size of swim up pool. The hotel is in a great location, and I thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the Canal d'amour daily. Like others, I found the day trippers on organised visits to canal d'amour walking through the bar area a little odd as there was no check on who was coming in and out of the hotel grounds. We were all-inclusive but went out twice to try nearby restaurants, all of which are in easy walking distance. No need to book a restaurant as they are only 50% full at best. There are only a handful of shops, but you do have a small 'super market' and gift shop. Pharmacy is also within walking distance. Take insect repellent and use it every evening. You'll be grateful you did! I have a few little moans in that The quality of soft drinks from the dispensers was bad The pool bar ran out of ice Our safe was not working on arrival and I pointed this out to staff when we were shown to our room. Despite several chase ups, it was never fixed. No soap in our shower of bath dispensers, and only two small bottles of shower gel supplied and not replaced. None of these issues are big, and certainly didn't spoil our holiday or upset us. However, this hotel is meant to be 4 star and it's not. It's 3 star. These issues are easily rectified and will bring the hotel back to a true 4 star. It felt like the management were cutting corners to save a few euros here and there, bearing in mind there have been 2 very lean seasons. If an Akron Seascape management team member reads this, please spend those extra couple of euros, and you will truly have an exceptional hotel. Your hotel is well cared for, has all the facilities, and your staff are great and a credit to you, just stop cutting a few little corners please.

First of all, we had a lovely holiday at Akron. The good points are the restaurant staff who are absolutely lovely, not a bad word to say about them. The pool and sunbeds were great and the availability of food all day was fab. Our welcome was wonderful and our 1 bed apartment was very spacious with clean linen. Now the negatives. The Canal D'amour is an eyesore, rubbish left piled up on the beach and at the top of the stairs down, photo attached. It is absolutely nothing like the pictures you see. The cleaning of the apartment was not great at all, no dusting at all and only random sweeping. The food was just OK most evenings but not as TUI advertise and the selection of desserts was shockingly poor. Its OK if you want baklava or ice cream every night. There was 1 night a week with tiramisu which was yummy! The evening entertainment was dismal and some nights non exsistent. Anyone was allowed to walk in and use the pool leaving us wondering about the security of our belongings whilst in the pool. People used the pool area as a walk through to the canal d'amour which we found shocking. I paid for a resort, not a public right of way! There were also several off the street salesman trying to sell, i have never experienced this by a hotel pool. The bar staff were rude, sullen and clearly favoured their Greek friends who frequented the bar day and night. The bar was more used at night by the staff tthan guests. The house spirits were weak and a shot of grey goose vodka was €18 extra. The daily cocktails were dreadful! The bar seats and cushions were ridiculously filthy and always wet. Lastly, the restaurant toilets were not routinely cleaned at all which was surprising given the amount of pool dwellers and outsiders using them and the location by the restaurant. I will attempt photos. All in all, defo not a 4 star, a 3 star at best. The location of Peroulades is run down and the "resort" is dated. I really hope they start running a more professional bar service and try making a more sophisticated evening bar service as this would help achieve a better and more professional holiday. I will finish by reiterating how much I liked and respected the restaurant waiters and waitresses, they made the experience so much better. 😀

Dear Julia, Greetings from our Sunny Corfu, We would like to thank you so much for choosing to visit the Akron Seascape Resort Hotel, here in Corfu. Kind words like yours regarding our colleagues in the restaurant, facilities around the pool area, the food available daily, and the overall welcome experience that our reception desk and housekeeping offered to you are definitely overwhelming and certainly very rewarding to each one of us. Regarding the negative points mentioned please allow me to inform you that on behalf of everyone that works here in Akron Seascape Resort we feel extremely saddened that as a team we did not manage to meet your expectations in some aspects of our product. As a hotel the last operative years we are promoting and supporting any effort for a greener environment and that’s the main reason that we have added the blue waste bins for paper recycling and we aim to add a few more for glass recycling since you have posted a picture of some plates that were ready for this purpose. Please allow us to elaborate to all TripAdvisor readers that the isolated areas in Corfu such as Sidari are indeed facing a delayed growth in their rubbish collection system. Thankfully our constant efforts in informing the responsible department of the island to be more reliable and consistent with their work have paid off and since 16/7 we will have a weekly schedule as you already probably checked upon your departure. Regarding the cleaning of the toilets, our restaurant waiters and housekeeping have a 30-minute schedule for cleaning up to 22:00 at night. Even if we have decreased the cleaning time from every 45 minutes to 30 minutes from the previous season, maybe is indeed something that we should reconsider and make it less even less due to the high availability. I have to admit that I was totally surprised when I read your comments regarding the beauty of the Canal D’ Amour, the efficiency of the housekeeping, the evening and morning entertainment, and the friendliness and professionalism of our bar staff. As a team, we usually receive comments of excellence, especially about our team and their efforts to meet guests’ expectations. In our hotel, we always aim for improvement and do insist that the best way to achieve it is by taking our guest’s precious comments into serious consideration. Just to inform you that the management team has already noted down your remarks regarding the evening bar service, the pricing of the hotel’s drinks, and the quality of cocktails. Thank you once again for your preference and also for sharing your detailed review here on Tripadvisor. Warmest Regards, Alexandros Mavridis The Hotel Manager Akron Seascape Resort Hotel

I spent 7 nights at this amazing hotel,Akron Seascape Sidari, the position its breathtaking overseeing Canal d Amour, exactly in the peak of it! The room was excellent:clean, spacious and with modern features and a private pool, there is the main pool if you care for interaction: the Dj playing a nice selection of music. The food was excellent, nice selection and diverse, every lunch and dinner different dishes, they have the A la Carte too with an amazing view!!! The staff was so welcoming making you feel at home, always smiling and very helpful! For animation every night different events:greek dancing, life music, buzukia to name a few! All over the experience was amazing, felt so relaxed and for sure coming back!

We have just got back from two very sunny and warm weeks at the Akron Seascape Resort. Firstly and most importantly, we have got to thank all the staff, always ready with a smile and ‘hello’, but we have got to give a special thanks to Alexandria, restaurant manager and Alex, the general manager. they were both hard working and committed at making sure you enjoyed your holiday. We are both pensioners with reduced mobility. It’s important to mention here that I investigated this hotel and nowhere could i find any information about getting around the complex and the inclines.. The reception is a good 200 yards away from the rest of the hotel with a very steep slope to climb in between to get to the other amenities. The bathrooms also need making more user friendly with hand rails etc. We were glad we got a room with a swim up pool and terrace, this made it more relaxing to be able to lay on your own sun beds and use the pool. During our stay, we found it necessary to rent mobility scooters to venture around the resort, the previous mentioned hill and Sidari. Unfortunately, we both had falls while there. The staff and some residents helped me and from then on our care was stepped up by all the staff with a special mention to Kostas in the restaurant, always very helpful with a nice cool drink. The food was good and plentiful, but I would criticise the lack of variety and choice of sweet items. A large variety of ice cream flavours is available all day from two locations. Snacks and drinks were also plentiful. Spirit based drinks were very weak. I understand that the hotel has new owners and is due for a large refurbish. It certainly is ready with more emphasis on mobility, health & safety etc.. Tui, rate this hotel as 4 star, at the moment i would question that rating. Not to take anything away from, Alex and Alexandria, who couldn’t give more.

This lovely hotel is a hidden gem. It has a superb location on the cliff tops overlooking Canal D' Amour and has fabulous sea views. Great outdoor pool, plenty sun loungers and umbrellas. Two bars with happy staff. Buffet restaurant serves plentiful choice of local and Mediterranean dishes, tasty and healthy savoury and fruit salads. Hotel and grounds kept in good condition and well maintained gardens with colourful plants in bloom. We chose a swim up room and it was fabulous, spotlessly clean. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was made to feel special, like family.. We very much look forward to a return visit.

The meat dishes are cooked to perfection. Lovely salads , fresh fruit , vegetables , pasta dishes .Tasty sweet dessert’s .Also a weekly barbecue which was amazing Alexandra the restaurant host is such a lovely girl and always pleasant. No problem with sunbeds around the pool or queue’s for food & bar .The bar staff are so lovely ,full of fun especially Ziggy who invented her own cocktail (called Ziggy ) we didn’t catch all of their name ‘s , but all excellent ..The rooms are modern and immaculately cleaned . Clean sheets & bedding daily . This was our first visit to Akron Seascape and will definitely recommend it to everyone . We met some lovely people to chat to ,which was so nice . Corfu is a beautiful island and Akron is in the perfect location next to the picturesque Canal d “mour ❤️ & beautiful sunset . BEST hotel in Sidari by far . Highly recommend 👍 Will definitely return

The Akron seascape hotel is beautifully situated by sidari’s famous Canal Damore. My partner and I spent a magically week here. The hotel was beautiful and had amazing coastal views. The cuisine was fantastic and offered up different regional plates as well as a good selection of European delights. The staff were so helpful and friendly and made us feel most welcome. Cleanliness of hotel was 5 star. We loved it so much we are already planning a return visit.
