I have been walking the Camino now for almost 4 weeks and many of the places we have stayed have been very poor in terms of quality, facilities, food and service however I am delighted to say that the Floriana was a welcome exception. The owner of the hotel was very friendly on our arrival and arranged to get our...

Stayed here while walking the Camino, there was no stars listed on my prebooked accomoodation list, and given some of the locations I have stayed in, I was deliighted to arrive at this place, beautiful building, modern, spotlessly clean, on the camino and only 200 metres from the main area. The hotel was hosting a wedding when I arrived (I...

An overnight stop at the Hotel de Floriana in Molinaseca provided us with modern looking --out of season--ski lodge type accommodation. We had a top floor suite which was set within the roof line of the building and while this provided us with plenty of space and local views of the mountains the low roof line meant we had to...

Arrived. No one on reception. Tried electronic bell, no answer. Bashed manual bell and someone appeared. More concerned that I had the voucher than anything else. No attempt to give me any further information such as meal times. The place is empty. Wifi free and works okay in the lobby but not working on the first floor. Breakfast starts at...

Very strange atmosphere.... Receptionist was helpful on our arrival but was on whatsapp during our conversation with her. After checking in and for duration of our stay there was no other staff present on reception or elsewhere in hotel. We felt somewhat isolated and it was all a little creepy. Yet it was a clean and spacious room. The restaurant...

Stayed one night while doing Camino. What an absolute gem. Got a room on the top floor overlooking the road and it was as quiet as anything. Had tea at the restaurant and the waiter was extremely helpful. Room nice and large as was the bathroom. Beds very comfy. Breakfast very good. All you could want. Highly recommend.

We were walking the Camino de Santiago September this year and stayed at the hostel that runs by De Floriana hotel at Monlinaseca, Spain. The Albergue is located across the street from the main hotel, it is under the hotel's management. The Floriana Albergue facilities are straight out of the 70's and nothing seems changed. The kitchen light bulb is...

Three of us arrived wet in the rain late one day and stopped here by chance. Everything from checking in to out, breakfast, checkout time... all wonderful. No sheets provided as it was pilgrim pricing, but the beds, pillow slips, towels, shampoo,... all exceeded expectations. Hope to find similar accommodation elsewhere!

Molinaseca is such a beautiful town and a great place to stay for a day or two if you have time along the camino. We only had one night and so we ate at the hotel (blisters were another deciding factor!). We were delighted that we did, the meal was exceptional and there were plenty locals eating there which is...

Having broken my foot I had to change my walking plans and slow down my camino experience. Hotel de Floriana is beautiful and calm. The help at the front desk speaks English and is extremely helpful. The atmosphere is so special I would highly recommend a stay if you are doing the Camino!
