Other reviews definitely overrate this place. It is too expensive for what it offers. The rooms are small; the heating can't be turned off; the walls are so thin one can listen to all other guests; the breakfast is a joke.

We stayed in the hostal for two nights, not as walkers but as there were a couple of places in the immediate vicinity we wanted to see and the comments on Trip Advisor were so positive we had to stay there. We were not disappointed; a lovely welcome from the lady in charge, nice big spotlessly clean room with everything...

Fromista promised much but we were a bit disappointed by the town. This hotel, however, was very pleasant and made all the more so by the charming lady who runs the place. After nearly 25 days of walking she was one of two hotel owners who noticed we were hot and tired and offered us each a cold bottle of...

We loved our time at Hotel Camino de Santiago. The woman who ran the Hostal was just lovely. We don't speak Spanish and she didn't speak English but we communicated beautifully. She gave us a coke when we arrived, washed my clothes for me and made us a lovely breakfast. It was the perfect stay for pilgrims along the way.

I passed Frómista when I was doing the Camino de Santiago and ended up staying there a couple of days. The owners of the hostal are really nice and helpfull, the hostal is very clean and the rooms are authentic and big. In general is was a great experience and I would love to go back to visit Fromista, even...

Loved this place ... It's only a small establishment, and it real does feel like a home away from home. The rooms are lovely. The women who hosted us were delightful, and I think was this was the only place where our host wanted to take a photo of us (with our camera) out the front of her establishment. Such...

Two of us stayed for a night on the Camino. The location is good and the hostal is very pretty, with flowers. The room is spacious enough and bright, with a four poster double bed. Sleep was difficult though, as the room was very hot and when we opened the window for air, it was very noisy as it is...

We couldn't find another room in January in Fromista (which by the way is a charming town!) so we were grateful to book this room. The booking process was a bit casual, by email, but didn't have any problem. The location is perfect--we came to see Iglesia de San Martín and the hostal is quite near the church. It's about...

This has got to be one of the best stops along the Camino Frances - ignore the guidebooks and stop here. They have typical shared accommodation and have just built a 3 star hotel with double rooms, aircon, tv, shower, wifi. They have the traditional pilgrims meal at 7pm, 3 courses, and wine, bread etc. They have a small outdoor...

The hostal is beautiful outside and well kept inside. We found the rooms to be on the small side, plus there was some misunderstanding over single and double room availability. When we stayed there, most of the rooms were taken by a group attending a wedding so there was some additional noise, but with considerate guests, the stay was restful.
