Los Arcos is a bit of a one horse town,so accommodation options outside of Albergues can be limited. However,we were delighted with Hotel Monaco.Stayed here for one night with my partner while on the Camino and we were very pleased all round. We got a lovely, friendly welcome from the owner, despite us being stinky and sweaty! The rooms have had a recent refurb, they are... This is a very comfortable hotel situated near the center of Los Arcos. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was of a high quality. There is a pleasant bar at ground level. A definite recommendation for the Camino.

Not sure what Barryfliers issues are. We are here now. Just finished a great pilgrims meal in their nice restaurant. Bar is downstairs. Plenty of hot water after a long day of hiking. Excellent local wine and cuisine. Would recommend to anyone doing the Camino.

Stayed for one night while walking the Camino. Great room with large balcony, great for sitting or drying clothes. Extremely helpful and pleasant proprietor. Good evening meal at a reasonable price and good selection of food at breakfast.

We are walking the Camino de Santiago and thought to have a bit of luxury for a night after a long hike from Estella to Los Arcos. The Monaco hotel a 2 star hotel, advertised with all facilities. But after checking in, no bar, no restaurant, NO HOT WATER. We Would have been better off in a basic hostal. Peregrinos... More

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, despite us being muddy and dripping wet through. Comfortable rooms. Clean and warm, great for a cold wet day. Food , beer and wine in the bar below the hotel great. Perfect for our Camino stay. In fact we stayed 2 nights and had a day off to dry out .

Hotel is clean and comfortable after a day walking the Camino. However both dinner and breakfast, that were included, were served elsewhere. Dinner was at a dive across the street , couldn't wait to get out of there. Breakfast was in the cafe downstairs which was fine. But the strange thing was that no one was in the hotel when... More

When I saw the outside, I was worried, but unnecessarily. The host is very friendly and carried my luggage to the room, explained that hot water would come in a couple of minutes, bent over backwards to be helpful. The room was nice with a balcony overlooking the plaza. I had the pilgrim's meal with paella and salmon, which was... More

The hotel is very simple and modern, and only a few metres detour from the Camino. It is located between a small Plaza (very popular with families on a Saturday well into the late evening) with a church bell that tolls every quarter-hour on one side and a rowdy bar on a small square on the other. Our room was... More

The Hotel Monaco looks a bit shabby from the outside but the rooms have been very well renovated, are modern, comfortable and very pleasant with balconies opening on to nice views over the countryside. The staff were most welcoming and helpful and the bar underneath a terrific and convivial place to stop, have a drink and some tapas. Very good.
